Making a Ua DrK?
Hey all! I just wanted your opinions on this decision I need to make.
Well, for starters, I have a level 72 Mihile, and I was wondering if it would be of any benefit to level him up to 100 and make a UA DrK? I took a look at the guide on Basil, and, even though it did answer my questions for Soul Driver, it made me wonder if those extra slots in the Use inventory really outweigh the 2 attack medal, the soul summon, the 20 attack Blessing, and the free level 60 set. And, well, possibly being better at pyramid (Fury just isn't cutting it for me).
So, I'd like your opinions on this: Would it be worth my time to train my Mihile 28 more levels and make a UA DrK, or just make a new regular Explorer DrK right away?

Now don't worry too much, a reverse/necro spear can actually be very viable for a while. Not end-game worthy really, but a decent (130+ att) spear could last you a good while if you aren't too concerned with damage and the like. If you grab a few 114+ att reverse/necro spears off the fm, +7 them and go nuts with cheap enhancement scrolls, you could easily get a 130+ in a few tries.
Disregard that if you have adequate funding.
Also, overall polearms are better than spears in terms of speed... usually, but to me, spears look far more awesome, so I opt for those instead. An SSPSB would definitely be a viable weapon, it just isn't for me~

Ignoring the storm that might be threatening to brew here, yes, Pole Arms are generally better since you can also use it with an Aran and the best weapons for a Drk are all pole arms, but spears are really cheap and original to the class. However, comparing regular pole arms with regular spears, they tend to have the advantage in terms of speed.

Not unless you can afford decent SI, and are willing to azwan for atk speed inner ability.

Ah, ok. Well, it seems that a regular DrK seems the way to go
Just one more question, vege: Would you say a Reverse Alchupiz is end-game worthy? o.o

It does more damage (160% vs 120%), but is not maxed until level 200 and does not receive Benediction of the Fairy (which makes the Dawn Warrior's Soul stronger and longer lasting than the Explorer's Mihile's Soul).
You use it when it runs out of time, I guess. According to Mr. Narcissist it can disrupt rushing, so there's that as well.

Soul Driver isn't even maxed until level 90, where its only use would be its AoE, since Fury's stronger (and maxed at level 66). Everything but the summon is replaced, which may not make up for the money spent on slots.
