Mihile Bossing/Grinding

Hey all!

I have a Mihile that I've been neglecting in Reboot for some time now. I just reached third job on him and I was wondering how he is bossing and grinding-wise from levels 100 and up. I still have serious issues timing my shield since I haven't bossed much yet, but I'm sure that can be ironed out as I go. But how is grinding? I'm more used to classes with high mobbing capabilities, like Kinesis, Aran, Night Lord, and such. I understand that Mihile doesn't have that level of mobbing, but is it manageable? Will I be clawing my eyes out in my futile attempts to level?
My final question: How long did it take you to master timing the shield block? On bosses? And during grinding?

Thank you all!

Thank you friends for the tips! Slowly leveling my Mihile and it's really fun trying to time Royal Guard. Still having issues keeping it up on five stacks consistently, but even without it I run through mobs no problem.
I never considered getting buff duration on Mihile, but since I saw this comment I've been trying to get at least one line of it. The RNG is not in my favor, though...

To add to the post above, you should definitely roll for buff duration for your IA to make your Royal Guard more forgiving.

There's no real "mastering" Royal Guard. Not until Nexon changes it to be totally client based rather than based on your lag. You can only get "really good", but there is no mastering it.

Honestly his mobbing and grinding isn't that bad. Cross w/e the name was has really good vertical range and I can actually hit two floors in ToT. That and when you get really good at Royal Guard you basically get a really good Ultimate to spam every 5-10 seconds.

To get good at timing Royal Guard, well it took me till 150 to actually get it down. It really does spice up gameplay because it's used and timed differently in each area. Commerci is a good example. The bosses in there have such weird delays but after a good amount of trial and error you finally understand all of the bosses attacks and attack patters (which you don't usually pay attention to in other classes!) and I was able to guard against most of their painful attacks. It's different in each area so there's always a learning curve no matter where you go.
