@whoamomma1: All that matters is what they're looking for. If they want to clear the boss quickly and show off, they can accomplish that with op funds and %damage. Even with farming, it is better to kill it quickly. Of course, they could always save the trouble and quit. It's not something to lose sleep over. haha
Oh no, I got so much DPS/DPM I can clear this boss so quickly. Look at me, I'm so cool! Seriously it doesn't bloody matter. As long as you can clear the damn boss and have good drop rate. All it freaking matters. What can't people understand?
DPM doesnt matter, its all about % drop.
@stoker Words cannot describe how true this is. These dumb plebs can't even control their characters OR fund themselves to hit these numbers. I don't even get why it even matters.. It hurts and it's almost 2017.
@kaxi: The only thing that changed outside of NL's 5th job skill was that some 5th job enhancement core bonuses because +5% crit rate instead of +1 mob hit.
That would not account for such large changes, either negative or positive (not even close).
@nitsua2789: I believe the Enhancing cores (such as how much damage increase per level) for V matrix were changed, not the regular 4th job skills.
@aaaayee: I think we only have to go as far to say that some people care and some people don't care. I think the only time we have to think about that type of thing deeply in in some of the sciences, politics, and when someone needs to be treated for something. In this case, it's just a game and people can do what they want. Once people get bored of the game or quit, they will naturally stop caring about these things.
@aaaayee: Some people are so attached to these charts for some reason ...
why do people care
@stoker: It can be relevant in some events. Like I remember when AB first came out, I considered making one because it would take half the funding to solo some bosses, which would allow me to fund the class I wanted more easily, but I just wasn't interested in playing it. I also tried merchanting, and that was boring and I didn't make much. I considered farming, but there was really nothing to farm at that point (this was before elites), and I lost interest after leveling was boring and grindy. So then I just played whatever I could and I was never really funded. I eventually quit the game. Some of the things look fun, though, but I know I will be bored with most of them quickly, so I don't see much point.
Except the only class that actually had a skill change was Night Lord
So none of the other changes make any sense
It's almost like DPM charts aren't reliable at all
Who would've thought.
~waits for mech buff~
Decent trade offs when you consider the abilities of each class.
@kaxi:
I'm not complaining, just remarking that Neoxn hasn't touched us in ages.
@littletlk: I mean BaM is pretty "normal" on the DPM chart.
Once again, Battlemage doesn't change.
Also, that "dark" skill is likely telecasting. (the difference between perfect and not doing it at all is massive)
@sweetbanana: you right
Checking around the forum you linked, I think that's the Blaze Wizard's DPM and not Fire Poison.
Corsairs have never moved from that 20/21 position in years. Guess I should be happy T_T
