New Splatoon Ranked Mode
So this new mode I like to call Inkstrike Mode is pretty crappy imo. I like the rank system but it seems that the team with the most Inkstrikes wins. Personally I think they should disable Specials there because it's a Specials nuke war. I do very much like the new gun and map though.
You guys enjoying the new mode more than I am?

i do agree that splatzone mode does not need special, i litteraly went against a team that had all inkstrike special. we barely won in overtime but its seriously ridiculous how 1 inkstrike can pretty much turn the table around cuz your team isnt paying attention.
i also had several occasion where you couldnt see the inkstikre indicator at all and wiped out our team in 1 fell swoop.

Well I'll admit I am exaggerating a little bit but it's relatively hard to get kills of the enemy team is playing pure defense because they expect you. But I firmly stand at Specials needing to go. Like you said you'll just have to try it yourself

Oh it's a nightmare. It's a small capture space and its easily filled with an Inkstrike. Specials ataare fine in turf war because people are separated and all over whereas ranked they are all funneled into that small part and is not so much strategy as it is a specials nuke fest. I'm level 9, so I don't know. However, Inkstike+Special Guage Gear is pobaly painful for that map. But you should be able to play around it imo. I will have to see when I get I play ranked.
