Ffxiv Story length
*Possible slight spoilers*
Well I wanna spend these next two weeks getting all caught up on my story mode so I have access to the Heavensward content. I've already beaten the ARR story (Ultima) ams am just a little bit past it into the after story. I just renewed my sub this morning and in a few hours got from doing guildhests for the Mor Dhona Adventurers Guild all the way to just after chasing the White Robed Ascian after he talked with Minfilia. How many hours of the story do I have left? My friends say I still have a really long ways to go but want to know how much that is. I play about 3-5 hours per day and was hoping to know if I can finish or get close to finishing before Heavensward release day.

@Icephoenix21: haha yeaah, it'll probably thrust you with the worst post HW, I've had no luck when it comes to coils so I've just stayed away. but yeah I mean I'm not one to usually judge dps, unless they're at the bottom. Because then it makes me feel like they aren't doing their job but that reminds me of this one coil I was watching and a drg uses elusive jump instead of second wind haha https://youtu.be/PH9qGbtJr8o
@Liam: I think they were attacking...one was a SMN with like i100-i110 set but from what I've noticed, SMNs either have awesome damage, or they really really really suck. There is no in between. The other was a MNK who was new to the fight, but wouldn't admit that he was new. Unfortunately I feel that finding a good coil party after the expansion will be a pain in the butt.
@Icephoenix21: holy butts lol were they just AAing to get carried? that's absolutely ridiculous.
@Liam: I wish. It'd actually be a nice wall between the noobs in game and the better players.
Also.. was in T7 today and god damn people suck.

Top 4 dps...2 of them are the tanks >_> and mine is low because I was taking care of the renauds. The other two dps were doing less than 200.
How do you dps that poorly. I just don't understand it.

Vishap's maximum HP has been reduced.
The maximum HP of all enemies that spawn has been reduced.
Damage dealt by certain enemies has been reduced.
Damage dealt by Vishap's underfoot attack has been reduced.
Damage dealt by Bertha cannons upon exploding has been reduced.
And yeah, beat it the second day and never looked back.

I played it the day it came out and I pretty much wanted to ball up and cry after the 5th run..but i beat it on that same day at the cost of my sanity
@Kazzooey: Not really a raid, more like an instance.
It's not hard per se, but takes some getting used to.

Yea I heard about that today. I have no idea what that is though. Is that a new raid or something?
Be happy you get to do the Steps of Faith trial after it's been nerfed.
It was such a pain the second day it was out.

OT: you can catch up if you marathon definitely, honestly there isn't a crazy amount that needs to be accomplished, only things between you & hw really are queue times in trials depending on your main class.
