I knew Paladins got it too, but don't they have to wait for Divine Shield to proc? Mihile's (apparently) get it passively, making it way more ridiculous. Plus, the whole ignore a million hits thing that they get.
Divine Shield has a chance of proccing when Paladins get hit. However, DS gives 25% mitigation; the other 10% comes from full Elemental Charge stacking (5 stacks, 2% mitigation each). Mihile's guard active skill has a cd of 5 secs, so he can't spam it all the time. But their 3rd Job upgrade passive says it "allows more consecutive defends with stronger counterattacks;" not sure if that removes the cd time or not. Also not sure if it fully negates %HP damage on a successful block or not...
Looking at the skill damage, it looks strong (250% base + 3% per character level); a Lv. 200 Mihile's ARG deals 850% damage per line in 7 lines (5950%), and at Lv. 250, he'd deal 1000% damage per line (7000% total). Speaking of which, that seems to rival some Lv. 170 Hypers in terms of damage, so I won't be surprised if the damage got nerfed in later patches.

The active skill guard mechanic is a new thing they're trying, so Mihile might have more changes to it before he goes live.
Back then, Mihiles were often slagged on, being called names like "Mikfail" and all that...

However, after this revamp, people would now think twice (or wait for a heavy nerf) before calling them that.

@KamikazeDes Mihiles weren't the first ones to have damage mitigation against %HP attacks. Paladins were, with 35% damage mitigation against them. Granted, their damage may not be as good as a Mihile, but still, at least Paladins got their initial nerf to Blast reverted. (There's still likely gonna be more changes before the patch goes live on the 25th...)
"Advanced Soul Shield: in addition to existing effects, Advanced Soul Shield now reduces the damage of % HP attacks by 10%"
Are you serious Nexon? All hail our new lord and savior, Mihile.

I'm surprised they took this long to update the only actually playable CK.

You'd think the guy who was engulfed in the reborn Cygnus's light would display new skills before his trainees.
