so today while i was doing the attendance on my merc. i had to end early to go to summer review for my US history regents. after i got back i find out i was banned for hacking.
*sigh* there goes my unique scroll

Why good things happen to bad people? Great question. All depends who you are comparing people too. The problem is we compare ourselves with people who are around us. If we open our eyes, and see the whole picture. We all know that we are not good. We are all selfish people. We are prideful. The list goes on and on. Just that a minute and think about it. That why we need Jesus. Who came to save us from our sins. Simply as that.. But we cant fathom that.

Of course, im not outright saying you're right or wrong =P theres a ton of things it could be, something else it could be RELATED to the attendance though could be things like: the maps the people were in (I know a few people who were banned for being in dark cornians, a popular spot for hackers due to its high spawn) the autoban going berserk in a particular area (I believe this happened once with dimension invasion PQ) It could really be anything thats causing this.
Imo the biggest problem with it being attendance, is that its VERY hard, if not downright impossible to tell if someone is doing attendance (unless they outright tell you) for all they know, the person could just be training or such; take kerning square for instance, I know people do attendance at those yeti claw machines, yet thats the exact place I was training my Kanna a few days ago. Hopefully they'll get to the bottom of this soon and get the innocent unbanned.
Edit: I have also heard that people have been getting banned for selling NX recently too, though thats always been a bannable offense.

I REALLY doubt that this is the case, mostly because if they considered it exploiting, they would've just changed the event so that you couldn't do it on more than 1 character (you could even do it on more than 1 character in KMS just fine) and if they couldn't do that, they would at least make it absolutely clear that doing it on multiple characters is a violation of the rules. Especially since if they were banning for it, why not do mass bans in seasons 1, 2, or 3?
OT: send a ticket in, thats your best chance of getting answered, i've had a few friends who were banned with no discernible reason (and some of them wheren't even doing attendance at all) and they were unbanned rather quickly.

my friend got banned for no reason too, sometime last month. nexon hasnt replied yet.
it must suck to lose all your stuff, not to mention the time spent on each character.
I also got banned on a mule of mine O_O
