KMS v1.2.254 Shadower skill changes - Meso Explosion

So I'm looking over the changes made to Shadowers in KMS and realize that Max now states that Meso Explosion can be casted while other skills are being used.

"Meso Explosion: damage has been decreased from 102% per coin to 100% per coin, maximum number of coins used has been decreased from 25 to 15, damage will now be increased by 30% for every 5 coins you use, cast action and cooldown have been removed, can now only be used with coins dropped by Pickpocket, can now be used in the air
NOTE: the Maple Info Center video says that you can now use this skill while using other skills (not mentioned in the patch notes)"

So if I'm reading this right, this will work as Xenon's missiles/Mech's heat seeking missiles (forgot skill names). If so, this will be a MAJOR change in how Shadowers fair in terms of DPS and playstyle. Basically, we should be using pickpocket more often (especially during bosses) since ME shines even brighter with 15 coins equaling 190%(+25% with BStep's passive?) x15 on top of already doing damage with Nate/Carnival. This is assuming that you generate a large stack of coins beforehand to fully utilize its potential (a drawback for those who are currently at the point where Midnight Carnival does not outdamage Assasinate read:99% of the Shadower community). This seems a little too over the top for Shadowers, don't you agree?

Also, in this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jg_Vjw30sBQ video, at around the :50 mark, we see a Shadower demonstrating the revamped skills with ME being used in conjunction with Nate almost seamlessly (something the KMS developers mentioned they strived to do when rebalancing Shadowers). I'm not sure if the player was able to cast ME even sooner than what was shown in the video but I'm guessing those with low ping will be able to achieve nice results with the new x + ME combo. Also, Into Darkness seems to teleport you to the nearest mob or to a random spot it seems(?). Might be an interesting way to extent our mobility (we can use this to skip a portion of ladder climbing to work as a psuedo-Assaulter?!).

What are your thoughts? Do you think this will be toned down? Should it be? What will the optimal setup be for both stationary and mobile bosses now? While I'm glad they're still trying to salvage ME's usability, I personally think it will be nerfed to an extent. (at this point, Shadowers have too many good things going for them).

Sorry if this is hard to read, I'm horrible at pacing. Also, feel free to discuss any other changes regarding Shadower here since I've yet to see one posted yet.

Edit: Special thanks to "TheBlackMage" on SP for linking the Maple Info Center video.

@lamato: imo that new tele skill seems to work like a better assaulter except without the damage

@catdograt God I hope so, I liked being able to push meso away to prevent clutter and to loot items that the mesos block. It was also fun to push meso around when just goofing off with people.

@Iksuea True, but considering we don't have any idea of what Nexon might do to the class, these changes still seem to seem very promising. They're making ME relevant again and that will change our playstyle yet again. I really do hope they give us more skills to chain together or give us Assaulter back (lel).

@serrebi456: First hit is 70m with limit cancel, last hit is 99.9m (100m). Add 50m for coin.

So from the patch notes the new cap for assassinate is what exactly?

Shadower's seem to be getting buffs upon buffs. Like wow. Remember when assassinate was slow as hell and the last hit moved you forward? Good times.

Imagine this with MC/ME combos incoming; That's gonna be some serious speed with green pots and SI in the mix, plus the Shadow partner buff. SHAD'S REJOICE

I'm just curious as to if you can macro midnight carnival and meso explosion.
I'd imagine being able to have them used at the same exact time would look pretty insane and probably more efficient then the past meso explosion considering you get to use two attacks at once. The only down side is the low drop rate and lowered damage with less coins. 40% is the chance of gaining a coin per line of damage with the meso explosion hyper. With 15 attacks you would have on average 6.5 coins per mc, meaning rather then 220% of a 20 coin stack with the hyper you would only have on average 130% with around 6 coins. Training should probably be easier since you can just macro bstep and meso explosion and probably still one shot most mobs. But ya if you cap with mc, you probably already would cap on a 130% meso explosion that also has a few passives. Meaning on average 21 lines per mc. But iunno what do you guys think? x.x

I think its pretty cool what shadowers are getting. A fox trot esque skill to help out more with mobbing and keep them on par with their other explorer counter parts, no delay meso explosion (looks like you can cast it whenever you want during an attack and it just works). Although as it stands now I think Assassinate is going to outweigh MC now, barely but enough for it to be more useful than it (since it is easier to cap on nate than it is MC). Although capping on ME might be a bit easier now? Im just going to end it off as its a nice change to their dps.
