Used the unleashed event to get 5 pieces of unique Emp gear, each with at least 9% dex, scrolled a 178 att Emp bow, and got a secondary with 30% boss, 3% all, 6% dex. That, plus moving all the link skills, 4 evo rings, and a meh-scrolled 15 all android heart. Two month's worth of event hoaring: worth it. ^_^

The WA is not a a new class, I did not view her post in the way that you claim I clearly did, I already got from her what she actually meant, and contrarily to what you think I actually agree with her positions to a certain extent.

Well, I managed to get a full set Tyrant [all cubed to epic though] with all three 5star enhanced + 3/4 chaos RA set [cubed to unique/epic] and a 200att emp bow [15%dex / 30% boss] with just 2 weeks of searching and trades -keep in mind i just came back after a 5month break. So I'm pretty satsified

@seishikin: All of them do fine in bossing when looking at all categories. Strictly dpm speaking DA is only stronger than revamped Dawn Warrior, Demon Slayer, Hayato, Aran, and Paladin.

I'm not gonna continue arguing because that is pointless. We're not even on the same page anymore.

I just believe that a huge reason WA are hugely hyped because it is the newest archer branch class (revamp or new) to hit gms, with the last one being Mercedes in late 2011 (I believe). That is the point I was trying to get across. Nothing else.

Actually, no, don't assume I know what you meant. There have been multiple threads spread out in which people believed and/or asked wheter the current Cygs would stay the same and new cygs were being released. My statement was made purely on what you wrote.

DA would not have received the same hype. It does not appeal to the masses that much and its a balanced class but not super strong. Their is a VERY good reason why Nexon obnoxiously makes overpowered classes upon releasing a new class.

@seishikin: There is no game to be played. I made a statement o.o. A BM has new skills and mechanics after RED and plays nothing at all like the current BM. In fact GMS BM is non-exsitent after RED. That doesn't mean BMs are "new class" since Mercedes. The appeal of WA has more to do with thier flashiness and thier OP nature than being revamped or as you say being a "new" class. If RED or other revamps/buffs came before WA, the interest level would not be the same, meaning simply existing as a viable class to play is not the reason.

Do you really want to play this game? I admit that technically wind archers are a really old class just revamped but we can all agree this is not a regular revamp. This is a completely new rehaul to the entire Cygnus division of classes. I said that WA are the "first bowman class to be released in a long time" because the last class that was classified to wear bowman armour was Mercedes, and now finally WA come and they can reach the 250 cap with new skills and mechanics. So lets stop trying to argue that WA is a not a new class because that is pointless. I was just pointing out the large gap between Mercedes and WA as being the reason why WA seems to be the most hyped.

Snagged a lvl150 above average overall for 10mil a few weeks ago. Looking for an Empress Bow now alongside some cheap Bowman Empress. Just grabbing some clean stuff for now & the scrolling will come later.

I had hoped to buy an Empress set minus weapon and cape, but I couldn't find any that were clean.

Seriously considering abandoning all plans for the WA revamp as I didn't have enough time to prepare (started late) and focusing on Zero instead.

143% dex atm. With my 140 gear I'll hit 203%. After finish cubing (another 5 gears) I'm hoping for 250% at least.

I just lack tons of scrolled dex/link skills/character cards FML.

Well i got all but the emp cape for my WA now

Scrolled the bow to +6 since like 8 clean states didn't work for the last slot but i feel as if the bow sucks still its only like 158 atk and only gives me 2k range it says from my junk +1 lol bow that i have on

I have 0% dex and thats about it other then i have every link skill so mostly i will still be as sucky as all my other chars but i will have wasted 300mil that i ogt from krexel in the last weeks that ive been doing him for not much of anything really

Buying items seems like a waste unless you have NX even if you have the meso sadface
