Help with Ap Calc Homework

Find the slope of the tangent y^3(x) +y^2(x^2)=6 at (2,1)

Do I find the derivative first by differentiation then plug in the numbers @ o @
Help me I'm confused

Also: f(x)=sin^2(x) - sin(x) for 0<x< 3pi/2
Find abs min and abs max value
