Range for Von Bon?
Whats a good range to fight Von Bon with in a party of 2-3 unfunded players? I just tried to fight him with a Bishop, but she did nothing except dodge him, didn't even try to attack, so I was basically soloing him, and I could only get him down to between 1/2 and 2/3 of his health before he killed me. Right now my range is 21k, was hitting him for 30-40k per line and it would have taken me forever to kill him like that.

Btw, you can crouch his projectile. His jump attack also leaves you with little hp, but is survivable if you are at full health.
@TripleBladez: Yea it def caught me off guard, killed me 2 or 3 times before I caught on to his pattern (was preoccupied with some texts ._.) and then I got my last death when I slipped up and landed on one of his projectiles instead of jumping over it XD
My bishop can't solo it atm due to many things Von Bon exploits, my xenon can solo it quite fine, she hits almost 200k with link skills and buffs and a whole 50k+ range.
@Lecarde: You'll have to heal to full HP after every hit then. After the initial separate projectiles and ground pounds, Von Bon loves to combine a ground pound slightly after a projectile, which is where I tend to see most people caught off-guard, lol. Thankfully, NL's can keep jump attacking to avoid dying from that combo often.
@TripleBladez: Yea, the ground pound is what got me, after he started using it is when I started dying, took me by surprise and almost OHKO me every time
@cris1000: Bleeding Toxin is a pretty terrible Hyper Skill with a 30 second duration, and 90 second cooldown. It wouldn't have made the difference.
@Lecarde: I'd say 40k is a rough estimate to solo Von Bon. You might need a higher range, but you can keep him on the black clocks (to infinitely add time) for most of the battle until he starts teleporting around the map at about 30% HP, which is when both white and black clocks disappear. AB link skill helps when he's teleporting, and stops to do his super kb. You'll never die if you can avoid his projectiles, and ground pound.
@Anthoy84: I honestly thought the bishop would help fight, and in that case I thought my range would be good enough to kill him w/ 2 people. She buffed once, and then did absolutely nothing, not even healing me, she just used pots the whole time, it was frankly annoying.
@cris1000: I could try that, I honestly forgot I had that hyper tbh thought the lvl 150 for NL is just poison so IDK if that would actually help or not
Just be level 150 and get your first hyper skill and you should be able to do it with two people.
2-3 people with a 30~40k range each should be able to take him down in 7~10 minutes.
I think 15~20k range is pushing it a little bit, but still doable.
Do the math, if ur current range would take him to 1/2hp before he kills u.... Then how much range would u need to do 1/1 of his hp?
