I just went today for the first time after watching a video to see how to farm the coins. I just enter the abdomen use four seasons quickly and then QT him to death in a few seconds (thats after I killed both shoulders). But yeah like everyone said try to avoid the vines because it is annoying to mash your < and >.

@Lecarde: The abdomen is so easy o-o
You just have to watch out for the vines on the ground and the glowing rock things.
That's difficulty:1 head tho.

OT: Really now the abdomen has been nerfed so bad, the black smoke used to bind you.
Oh, I was wondering about that. I thought it stopped binding me because I had the full gollux set.
@Houndoom: Are you kidding? The abdomen is harder than the head. I haven't managed to kill the head yet but thats a straightforward fight, just stay on the other side of the head that he is going to shoot purple death from. The abdomen has so many more things you have to dodge, they really should switch those two fights around
There's a move i don't quite understand yet i've seen it but when he is about to die so nothing happens to me, the abdomen summons like 4 black pillars and i have no idea what to do in that situation

Really? The abdomen is harder than the head? What are you people *ON*?

It's all really observation and dodging. Your eyes should be on two places: the small diamond cores to the sides and the floor. Stay close to the center so you can keep an eye on approaching mobs.

If there is any disturbance in the floor, get to a clear spot asap. Use it as a chance to wipe out the small mobs.

There's five locations where the black and pink mists will land, indicated by which core flashes the appropriate color. Far left or near left (left flash), center (both flash), far right or near right (right flash).

The black mist (at the very least) will not strike the same place twice in a row, so if you can safely move to where the last black mist landed, you're safe for at least one round.

Don't be afraid to run out to pot or rebuff. If you die, get out. As far as I can tell you respawn on the left side, so clearing out the right leg (that is, the leg on the left of the map) will give you a safe room.

The only attack I really can't give an accurate description on is the one wher ethe abdomens fire beams upon you from above, but I rarely encounter that. That can and will likely hit multiple times, though.

If you have abilities that will heal you on attack or over time, use them. If you have familiars that will heal you, use them too. If you have HP boosters *DON'T* use them. How fast you can heal back 50% of your HP is more important than how much that 50% is.

You must kill the mobs heading into the Abdomen. If 1 of them reaches the Abdomen you cant leave the map. If 5 of them reaches the Abdomen then you die instantly.
The key is to stay in the middle and look at the floating stones/pieces to the right and left of the Abdomen. If the right one flashes, Dodge Left. If the Left one flashs, Dodge Right. If they both flash then get away from the middle. If instead they flash red then you must dodge accordingly or allow yourself to get rooted (Thus avoiding the Sed)

I didn't realize the abdomen was so difficult for people

I can 1-hit the abdomen, and somehow it still manages to kill me on rare occasions. All it takes is some "convenient" lag, and Nexon statistics (<10% chance of bind, but occurs consistently anyway -_- ), and viola...dead.

you should probably just be paying attention to the roots coming out of the ground and you'll be good
you cant leave thru the sides if any of the monsters hit the abdomen

@Thiele: the thing that traps you is what screws me up, its so much harder to get out than the hats that Pierre drops, they need to make it easier, and I am pretty sure that killing the shoulders does not make the abdomen easier bc I tried it before and after killing shoulders and it was just as hard, it does %hp attacks too </3

@blimko: Yea I was doing the whole leave the room thing, I get screwed over when it doesnt let me leave the room for some reason

I just managed to kill it, and I think the abdomen is harder than the head is tbh didn't manage to kill the head though bc the damned abdomen took all but 1 of my lives -_-

Don't get caught by the bind, jump up at the last second if you need to. If you run low on hp and potlocked, leave the room and come back.

Gollux abdomen is just a lot of dodging around, similar to gollux head later on.
