@leopard16: slyphs rings give 10% of something, thats true.. it gives 10% boss dmg/pdr/crit rate/crit min/crit max/resistance... the 10% is resistance in to getting perm resist without potting tho.. u get 20 from WP 25 from CK 10 from ring 4-6 from DS card that alone is around 60 and most jobs come with built in resistance aswell to make up for that missing 40, so that makes u 100% perm resist
The overall effect of both min and max crit is the same, however min crit is better for MMs as others have said for: (a)more stable damage and (b) In the event where you start hitting cap dmg with crits, then extra max crit becomes redundant, whereas min crit will continue to benefit you until you cap 100% of the time.
@distantsky: 100% resist with no cooldown
can you elaborate more? i thought all the slyph rings give 10% of something.
@distantsky: 100% resist with no cooldown
consider about getting the resist because 100% resist is actually really good
holdup, is it 100% resist permanently? Or with a 5 min cooldown?
I'd go for min crit but I have too many other rings that are better than 10% min crit.
is min crit or max crit better for mms?
They both average out to the same thing if you do the math but min crit gives more stable damage
Min crit. MM's have an very large amount of max crit from skills, but no min crit as far as I know.
