Did you hear about the Australian guy who was the first person to get an iPhone 6 and dropped it on live news when he was being interviewed? lolol

It's a big deal simply because it's the newest and best iPhone on the market.. If people can afford it and want to upgrade their device I don't see why people care. It's their money not yours.

You can subjectively look at anything people spend their money on and call it a waste of money, IMO people who spend money on video games are more idiotic than those who buy the latest iPhones.

Where I live there was a super short line for the ones that pre-ordered and the super long lines for those who didn't.

Currently got an Iphone 4S. Didn't even pay for it.

OT: I like them a lot but they're priced way too high and the camera sticking out is just... ugh. I also hate the iOS 7/8 look so I'll stick with my iOS 6 iPhone 5 for a while.

Got the 6+ today. I've wanted a bigger screen for a long time but appreciated Apple's great integration with their other products as well as the jailbreak community. Those two things were keeping me from moving to an M8.

@icemage11 a Basiler after my own heart. I never stop using things until they're broken. Unfortunately, my SO is the exact opposite and will upgrade/update everything she has as soon as she can. Such is life. (That felt good to say "such is life" in a comment on an online forum. I can only imagine how good it would feel if I could pull it off in a real-life conversation.)

I don't get it either but whatever floats their boat. I'm sticking to my iPhone 5 until it becomes unusable.
