Miyazakis last film

Miyazaki's last film, The Wind Rises (Kazetachinu), is out for a short time in NA! Has anyone seen it yet or is planning to?
If you have seen it already, what did you think about the movie?
I'm seeing it later today and I'm pretty excited. <3 I'm hoping the dubbed version is decent. xD

On a side note, I have also heard that Joe Hisaishi composed the Empress Chamber theme? I can never find any creditable confirmation.[/quote]

Oh wow, the first I'm hearing of this. If he did compose it that's cool O:

I plan on watching it when I can. The soundtrack is by Joe Hisaishi, who composed many of the other Studio Ghibli greats such as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Howl's Moving Castle. I know there are many other well orchestrated works in Ghibli movies. I am also looking forward to his work.

When combined, Miyazaki and Hisaishi create masterpieces!

On a side note, I have also heard that Joe Hisaishi composed the Empress Chamber theme? I can never find any creditable confirmation.

Mmmm, it was 2 hours long, and it went by a bit slow imo, but it was "ok" overall. Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a good job with voicing! It was nice seeing it on a big theatre screen with amazing quality and the sound was great too. Not much of a storyline though.

I'm probably going to watch it tomorrow, the nearest theater that's showing it is almost an hour and a half away.
