How to clean a retainer?
Yo guys, I just got my retainer yesterday and I noticed how easily plaque builds up on it. I'm wondering how to clean it without damaging my retainer, as it's a Zendura retainer so Idk if it's the same as other retainers. I've heard of just letting it lay in vinegar, alcohol, or listerine for 5 minutes but since it's a plastic retainer, i'm somewhat afraid if it might break down or not. I don't know if I should ask my orthodontist about this, so I thought i'd ask you guys first on how to clean my retainer

Edit: Just searched a zendura retainer, yours is the same as mine. Just use warm water and brush it with a toothbrush and toothpaste on the outside/inside. This is also what my orthodontist told me to do when I first got it, so it's pretty good advice[/quote]
