Somebody in a restaurant said this line and everybody bursted out laughing I still dont get it help pleaseeeeeeee

The joke is that apocalypse and tomorrow both have an "o" in them
Basically the joke is:
"people are making [end of the world] jokes like there's no tomorrow"
...
I thought it was funny.
