Kanna

Changes you would like to see in Kanna

Besides damage buffs and bug fixes, what are some changes that you would like to see in kanna?

I'd like to see the mana system changed to something like Zero's system, where it constantly regenerates rather than the '50mp every 4 seconds' thing we have now.

I'd also like to put nx on haku, since he is kind of android-ish anyways in his transformed state.

@ultxliger: It'd be broken. imo. Aran's dmg scaling is a lot lower though. Compared to our like 2000% attacks. (not literally)

Don't like number 2. EP should just ignore DR.
3 needs to have less start-up delay added.
4 is too op. We hit 5 lines. We're mages not bowmen/thieves. I'd just like a dmg% increase in vanquishers honestly.
9 is not needed. We just need the built-in boss% and pdr% included. All pot would just be the best secondary in the game. Haku's fan is already arguably only second to katara though I think it's on par.
10 is just not needed.
11 affects everyone so not needed.

My changes:
Tengu strike needs to cost 20 for total cast and not 20 per part. Damage % needs an increase. This OR Demon's Fury has cooldown removed at max lvl.
Increase duration of Radiant peacock
Blossom Barrier to be included in cooldown cutter hyper
Soul shear costing 20 mana instead of 30
%dmg increase for vanq
%boss and pdr that is built into a fan included when on haku.
Shikigami charm cooldown removed (kinda unlikely though)

What i'd like 5th job.
Haku Shadowpartner. (Really thought this would be an obvious hyper)
Haku skills upgraded.
Barrier for party att/matt
Shikigami haunting lvl 5. Hoping this would mob 6 and do 3 lines.

I don't mind as much if the skills look different. But those skills in particular (and Monkey Spirits, forgot about that skill) don't look refined or professionally done, imo.

This is one of the reasons that I do like Kanna, though. It's one thing that makes them different.

At your 3rd and 4th job advances you should gain 50 mana, boosting your total to 200. This or a hyper skill much like demon slayers.

Secondly I think they should allow Haku's fan to allow boss damage to effect you.

Mana hyper like +50 max mana or something that change the restore rate to 2-3sec instead of 4..

As far as the removal of the spawn effect on kishin, I don't think we would see this unless JMS did it, as that's where the kanna content comes from. I don't think GMS has any reason to really get rid of it, unless they want to increase the difficulty of leveling moreso.

A togglable soul shear would also be really nice. I've kind of gotten used to seeing those red orbs and forgot about them lol

I also agree that something has to be done about the mana. Whether they increase the cap, or lower the mp skills use, or increase or change the mana regen rate, something has to be done.

i'd like to see a modified shikigami haunting that covers a wider range of field and looks a lot better too

i'd also decrease the amount of cool downs on skills and make rock yaksha a little more useful

and over course i agree with nx, make him a little more human like in his buff form

1) Cut the Mana Requirements for all skills except Vanquisher's Charm by at least half. I think this should solve a lot of the problems.
2) Toggable Soul Shear (it's so annoying having layer upon layer of these things)
3) Shikigami Haunting and/or Vanquisher Charm mobs increase to 6 (8 with hyper)
4) New animations for Orochi, Falling Sakura, Shikigami Charm, and the Yasha skills. IMO, these don't even fit in with the style of the skills in Maple.

Pretty sure this isn't going to happen. Defeats the entire purpose of Kishin. Thats like taking the exp buff from Holy Symbol out. Proof or bull.

OT: I'd also like NX on Haku, hes too plain. Mana regen IS a pain as it is now, esp in boss maps where potions have a cooldown.
Maybe give us the hyper to increase our mana pool? I still have 2 points for that section left in hypers.

I am in favor for the haku nx, as for the MP regen I like the staggered system, what I would like changed with that though is that I want it to regen consistently... x2 is killer. I would also like to see cooldown reduction applied to both barriers.

Watch out on the kanna changes, apparently in one version of ms they removed kishin a increased spawn effect!
