Training guide with alternatives?

Hello so I'm looking for alternative training spots due to my laptop being a little ***** and lagging massively on the main training spots or any map with mobs that has a lot of spawn It might take me a while yes but I'll get there eventually. so I'm hoping you guys can help me out, give me some tips or at least point me to a training guide in the forums.

I can't train on PQ's (Evo lab)
I can't train on maps with big spawns (ghost ship maps, mp3, HoH etc.)

thanks guys!

[quote=Draception]With your situation, I recommend utilizing the level up guide Nexon actually implemented into the game.
Go to monsters around your level and grind. That's your only option for now.

However, before doing that you should take the time to google ways on how you can reduce the lag in game.
Some great methods are: maplestory.exe>priority set to high on task manager, setting your computer to performance mode, etc.
You can easily defeat quite a bit of lag if you optimize your laptop well enough.

If you're still running a toaster in 2014, I'd recommend that you invest in a better computer with reliable specs. Nowadays, you can get decent tech gear that will easily be able to handle a game like this. You might also want to increase your internet speeds to at least 8Mbps if you haven't done so already.

and this is when i get angry at the basil "like" limit.

Unless the lag is bad enough that it completely freezes your computer, I would just suck it up and stick to the popular maps. Even with the lag it should still be faster or comparable to other unpopular places. My laptop lags pretty bad in areas with lots of mobs just like you and I've learned to do the same.

This is a difficult challenge because you insist that you receive information excluding the popular maps.

So why is it that you can not train at those maps? You can't train at maps with large amounts of monsters?

Would boss exp help, considering they don't summon too many mobs? but they also have animations and summoned mobs.

You would also limit your experience by not going to the popular training grounds.

I think you should upgrade your internet provider speed/ PC components.
