@littletlk: ummm mostly all the exploits that have been done with shops can/could be done other ways like just normally trading sooooo should we remove trading also?

Perhaps the game should get with the times and replace the FM with a proper MMO auction house.

@littletlk: Everyone is illegit now and days. No matter what you get in the game it's probably been duped or botted for. Doesn't matter if it's from a hired merchant or not. Unless you only farm your own stuff with out touching the fm at all. You are probably playing illegit. That being said don't use those type of statements to make excuses. You are not legit no one is legit anymore.

@pinyin I agree but GMS is too greedy to give us the auction house that KMS has. They won't give us that since no one will purchase hired merchants anymore. Another reason why GMS is going down the gutter. They blame it on "exploits" but in reality it's all greed. Same with additional options and selling permanent hyper rocks and pendant expansion slots. Not counting marvel I mean directly in the cs.

It's simply a convenient solution for those who can afford paying a little extra for the ability to log off the game rather than stay AFK 24/7 and risk experiencing disconnection and crashing issues (and the FM spot hardly matters regarding this issue, in my server at least a lot more FMs after the first three are occupied).

While it is mostly used by the heavier merchants who deal with enough items to make it worth the pay, there's nothing off and shady about them. If you take every game system that was abused at one point or another by hackers this way you will be left with nothing in this game to trust.

Auction house >fm

I thought that the 30-days Hired Merchant was only sold during events.

@littletlk: I only feel that way for Hired Merchants that are in deserted FMs that aren't GHQs and the FM rooms 1-3 channel 1.

Hired Merchants are just one of those things that I see and immediately distrust the user.
They've just been involved in too many glitches, hacks, and exploits over the years.
I think they should go.

@littletlk: Removing Hired Merchants and replacing them with what? Not everyone can leave their computer on the whole day for a Permit.

@wall: Don't forget reward points buddy. If that's the case, I couldn't care less. It's only going to cost 2.5k NX more per month. But I'm tired of Nexon leaving us out on changes like this.

Hired Merchants are nothing but trouble. They should completely remove them from the game anyway.
