Request: Videos of Santa's Missions' Chimney Sequences

Particularly, the harder version. I can make it all the way to the last set of two puffs of steam, but there I get stuck. Unlike the other sets, whereas there is always a part where the bottom puff goes before the top, the last set always has the top go off first except when they align.

This is why I want a video of this portion being done. I have managed to pass this area the last 5 or so times, but only out of shear luck. I honestly don't recall how I did it. Seeing a video of someone aligning to the sequence works better than description in text, since I have trouble associating patterns.

Here is a screenshot of the area in particular. Again, the top steam puff always goes off before the bottom unless they both align. I can do the lower ones because I know to wait for the bottom to go off right before the top, but this logic does not apply here. I need help figuring out what to do here, visually.

Well I just lost a run. Ran out of time.

I rewrote the topic post, but to iterate: I have trouble relating text instructions to visual patterns. No matter how you explain it, I'd only understand it visually. If anyone can make a video of themselves passing it, so I can see at what point they move, it would be appreciated.

You need the cycle where bottom goes off first, then top. When the bottom pipe goes off, you basically start climbing, then the top steam should go off as you approach it. It has been working for me for the past 33 PQs already.

In other news, people who are still stuck because they passed the PQ requirement very likely won't be able to get the medal unless there is an event extension. 30 PQs are required to activated the Master Santa quest, and 4 additional days of Santa PQ are required to collect the etc items for the proceeding quest.

In that sequence, wait until the steams stop going off at the same time. Right after the bottom one goes, climb up, let the top steam go off and as soon as it's clear, continue up. This is what I do every time. It doesn't matter that the top steam goes off first- both have a gap of time in between and they go back and forth multiple times before matching up again.

Alrighty @megascience , so for the harder chimmney last 3 sections.
1st: wait one puff after the synchronized puffs. (When the two puffs appear together)
2nd: wait two puffs after the synchronized puffs. Go fast, do not hesitate
3rd: Final section: wait 4 puffs. Go on the 5th
Count the bottom puffs

For the last sequence, I always wait till they are synchronized,
Then I go the next one or one after that.

Or you can YOLO it and hold UP+Right+Jump. You will twitch up the rope and have 50% chance of staying on the rope when hit.

@xxjarakudaxx: I know. The problem is with this last sequence, the top steam always goes before the bottom. I'm waiting for the sequence where the bottom goes, then immediately after the top. That does not work there. Also, 10 minutes left.

I could make one tomorrow. But whenever you come across 2 steams that are too close together to even be between, they will cycle through and will have a chance for you to climb through. Edit: Just like your image, they will cycle and reverse, but your window of opportunity will close fast. Just wait and watch for the cycle to be ready.
