Why do ppl hate Nx so much?

I've been seeing a lot of hate comments/threads about NX recently, and I don't see why people are hating on NX so much o.O Ex. they can't host a game, they slack too much, the engineers suck, they only care about the money, they don't care about the customers etc.
TBH I use to hate NX A LOT, but then I realized that they have to handle 7 other games (Maybe more or less not sure) other than MS and there's always new people that join everyday. I also believe that they care about the customers, otherwise they wouldn't be fixing the game whenever there's stability issues or glitches etc.
Also, I know there's not enough employees to deal with the customers, and that is 1 of the reasons why nexon is also hiring people through their game sites
I just want to know why, Please keep the negative comments to yourself Kthx.

My bad if it is misled
It's cause they over price stuff a lot and they don't have great customer support. Or good customer support.... They don't really care about their players either. But they are inmproving. I guess their new year's resoulution is to make Nexon users happy.
Didn't they hire a former player as a new Customer Service Manager?

@memory829 For example, the one glitch when DB came out that made you unable to take anything out of storage. Tons of people core items in their storage for their DBs and had to play without them. Or how automatic level 30 Dual Blades had a decent amount of HP less than regular DBs, that took quite a while to get fixed.

I personally like having the option to get a few minor benefits than having to be tied down by 25 bucks a month.

And honestly, I love the way Nexon has it because NX isn't required to fully enjoy the game at all.

There's a reason why there's more than 1 game.
I don't hate Nexon, I just think they could really improve.

Not enough employees to deal with their customers.

Is the cash shop still advertised as "not affecting gameplay, only aesthetics"?
If so, that's pretty funny.
Well, you think a company that makes this much money would of tried to improve their security and system.
But no, they didn't, well nothing noticeable in the past 7years that is.

Also, "Please keep the negative comments to yourself Kthx." is really unneeded. By asking why we hate Nexon, is asking for negative comments (to Nexon).
Nothing noticeable does not mean they're not doing anything about it, How is it unneeded? There's a lot of Nexon haters on basil, I don't want to get flamed or anything for posting this, Sry If I didn't make myself clear, but by "Please keep the negative comments to yourself Kthx." I meant don't flame me or say anything negative just because I posted this thread

@memory829: it broke in May, and also how is that a smart thing to do if the majority of maplers are begging it to get fixed?
Why does a company, who knows the huge amount of customers they have, have so few employees?
Being understaffed is not an excuse for mediocrity. They need to hire more employees to accommodate the needs of their customers.
That's how the business world works. If everyone worked like Nexon, there's be 500 people in the grocery check out line and one or two employees.
That is not an acceptable way to run a multi national, multi million dollar company.
I agree with you. I guess NX cares about money a little too much. If they hired more employers their salary would be low and they don't want that...

@Zulucker: FYI:, CWKPQ was broken after the summer I believe, so it wasn't a yr, Anyways Horntail wasn't a MAJOR issue, and same with CWKPQ, Some people were still able to get into HT. As for CWKPQ, they were actually making some profits off of it, ever since it was glitched/broken w.e, Ele staff 7/8 became extremely rare and people would spend hundreds of dollars just to obtain 1, which was actually a smart thing to do. Who doesn't love money? And that doesn't mean they ONLY cared about the money. Those 2 things u stated out didn't affect the game by much apparently.

Because there is no need to hire any more workers.

In order for a business to take action, there has to be an incentive from taking that action. Nexon poorly maintains their games yet people still buy NX which makes me want to scream. If, however, everyone stopped playing, stopped buying NX, and blog/write bad reviews/write exposes/start boycotts and whatnot, then it's a no brainer that Nexon will take action.

Right now, Nexon's making a comfortable profit by doing as little as possible.

@Amped: Apparently, whenever there's a stability issue, Nexon would start fixing it right away, and do you mind defining "minor things"?

@memory829 and @Amped there was a glitch recently about exploiting Gaga and his NX equips, which was fixed UNDER 24 hours, yet big major glitches like horntail or CWKPQ get fixed in like over a year
Yes I do agree on this, and this is the main big reason why Nexon is also hiring employees over their game sites.

Again, this is obviously not true, if they ONLY cared about the money, then they wouldn't be fixing the game whenever there's a problem. Then again, it's not ez to prevent against DDoS
Obviously they're going to keep fixing the game, it's how they're getting their money off MapleStory whenever there's a problem [and it usually takes them a loooong time to fix even minor things]. If they didn't fix the game, they'd receive a TON less money.

NX has a possibility of giving players a HUGE advantage, at least on Maple. I've only ever played DFO seriously (other than Maple), and you can buy/sell the items you get from NX (avatars) while the other NX items are pots or tokens so you can revive yourself more than the usual 3 times a day. Meaning, in a game like that you have more or less equal footing there.

but maple still ends up being a good game, whether you use nx or not. Nexon made it a good game(yes i know koreans did it mostly, not nexon america) and THAT is why people end up buying nx in the first place. Remember those 100k nx packages? and how the got 2nd or 3rd on the "hot items" list? or how pams songs were bought even more? The only reason we buy nx is because we like the game. and we like the game because the workers did a good job making it.

@Nyekun, Well my bad if I mislead the title, and sry if idk the terms for NX, but that's not the point, people are complaining way too much about the game. They're saying that nx doesn't give a crap about MS, which they have no proof and it is obviously not true. They say that hackers are everywhere and the hack shield isn't running or it's not working properly, The hack shield is running. You know the times you get randomly disconnected That's hack shield doing some double time. Know why the hackers and botters are everywhere? They by-pass the hack shield leaving the rest of us being disconnected while the hackers and botters laugh at us. And the stability issue thing
FYI "it's not like Nexon only has one group of people for all their games, they have multitudes of people separately for each game." They have about 100 more or less employees thats handling 7 games, and there are over 10million players in one game, there's a HUGE difference between 100 and 10million, and we're talking about 1 game here.
