What happens to your IGN after you change it?
Hey folks,
My question is if you change your IGN with the name change coming up, what will happen to your old IGN that got changed? Is it free again? Does anyone know from personal experience?

it gets moved to Supreme server and you have to decide to delete it otherwise its just a ghost char
@mequar: It'll no longer be available, this is because your character's ID is registered under that name in the Maplestory database, your name just appears as whatever you've changed it to if that makes any sense. Although, this is going off my name change that I had years ago.
the ign actually isn't free again, or wasn't in the past when we previously had IGN changes in the cash shop. (personal experience)
@merchantsnowy: Dream big. Picton is a place I grew up going to. Never changing that one.

it shouldnt be free again, I have changed my name from DanceOfPoles to Phantorns back when you could buy name changes, and DanceOfPoles was not available again. Maybe its different this time around
@rfighter: @nitsua2789: You guys have done it before? Last name change was years and years ago. I guess I'll know better after the event, huh?
