So what was this morning server check all about?

Why did we have a server check this morning if are we having another one tomorrow morning? Because I still see the notice online, but I feel that it would defeat the purpose of having a second one, while the first one had no purpose.

Edit: To be honest I don't even know if we had one, because I wasn't able to play maple this morning and just saw it on basilmarket, but was too busy to look into it. So I'm not too sure if it was a troll or real. If someone can clarify it for me I would greatly appreciate it!
