Warning about Fake websites

So yesterday, a guild member and I had a trade request from someone trying to buy off our 'free' marvel, knowing that it's already bs. He gave us the link to a fake website, and of course, we didn't fall for it and just ignored him.

Unfortunately, a buddy of mine fell for it and was hacked after.

Just to give everyone a warning, do NOT fall for these fake websites. If it's too good to be true, know that it's probably some lowlife wanting to hack. Stay safe!

Yeah there was a fb thing going on a while ago. Like some fake maplestory admin posted in a comment about getting nx compensation and to log on through the link. Site looks exactly the same, except they ask to type in your pin also.

You should be wary of who you share account info with as well. A person in our alliance account was hacked because their friend fell for it and typed their friends account info into that phishing website.

Also phishing websites are very convincing since they look like the actual website. It's very easy for naive players to not know, especially those who are not very tech savy or computer literate.

@endurance website in question is not detected by chrome.

How do people even still fall for this????

This is the reason why scammers even exist, because people still fall for their tricks -.-

See? That's why sometimes it does pay off to read Basilmarket every once in a while:

Want to know how I got rich? I went to every single website that a FM spam bot whispered me whenever I walk into the FM entrance and entered ALL my person information.

Just kidding - Stay safe kids (assuming only kids would fall for these things due to the current worldwide awareness of online scam websites in all areas of the Internet)
