shocking discovery

Sharks apparently are the only animals that never get sick. As far as is known, they are immune to every known disease including cancer and old age.
Discuss.

@williamme: Did you know pansexual people have the same properties as sharks? My aunt is pansexual and she'll be 185 years old tomorrow.

@misslime: First of all, no one has the time to go on Wikipedia to change facts, especially "myths" about sharks. And in case you didn't know, Wikipedia is actually a very reliable source with 98% of its information CORRECT. And they regularly change back alterations to the site made if there are no supporting evidence to suggest otherwise. And if you were smart enough to go on other sources to see this information for yourself, you would see that Wikipedia is in fact CORRECT. Don't embarrass yourself, sheeple (whatever this means).
This following is from Wikipedia: Popular misconceptions
A popular myth is that sharks are immune to disease and cancer, but this is not scientifically supported. Sharks have been known to get cancer.[84][85] Both diseases and parasites affect sharks. The evidence that sharks are at least resistant to cancer and disease is mostly anecdotal and there have been few, if any, scientific or statistical studies that show sharks to have heightened immunity to disease.[86] Other apparently false claims are that fins prevent cancer[87] and treat osteoarthritis.[88] No scientific proof supports these claims; at least one study has shown shark cartilage of no value in cancer treatment.[89]

So, you are wrong to the bone. At the moment you said that sharks don't age, I knew you were full of s*t.
Don't trust everything you read on the Wikipedia Internet, sheeple

The only truth exists within her name MissLime > Lime > Lie = MissLie.
You can also just say "MissLime" slowly.

NASA can't go further than 400 miles from the Earth because the Cosmic Radiation would incinerate the astronauts in a matter of eons.

Why is it that the word "shocking" isn't quite so shocking anymore?
