As long as they don't remove the coins I still had from previous years, I honestly don't care.
Pretty sure I've only gotten coins this year on two or three characters so far, and none of them had managed to obtain a substantial amount to begin with.
oh rip, well I guess I got traits out of it. Still completely uncalled for to have an unscheduled maintenance 2 hours before reset, with the big claim of a CRITICAL ISSUE being handled. It's hardly critical since the shop isn't even out yet.
On the bright side.... all the fame!
Ah. There goes my 500 coins. Not that I care. I opened the boxes for the fame. lol
Oh well, I got 4.8k fame at least.

@misterpang well at least we still get the fame...
The event is a direct copy/paste job of the event we had 2 years ago, and that event didn't have a coin cap limit, nor did that cause any in game problems because of it. I don't understand why they're going out of their way to put limits on every single event we have.
@intjmikey: Alright that makes sense thanks. I just rechecked the patch notes and yea there's still about 6 days 'till the event starts.

They couldn't have fixed that earlier in todays SC? The boxes were dropping on Wednesday.

@eternalmemory if you read the patch notes, the boxes were clearly a mistake. serves you right for farming the coins without checking patch notes. noob.
@edatron: spring boxes were dropping since 2 days ago and the boxes let people get an uncapped about of coins
