Tower of Oz - Dorothy
Is there a guide for Dorothy boss somewhere? I can't seem to find any. Not the guide for floors but the boss itself. I'm trying to study the mechanic of the boss and I honestly have no idea what its skills are, how to avoid it, etc.

@nitsua2789: Oh, healing familiars count towards pot usage? Did not know that.
@misterpang: I'd suggest not using a healing familiar, because they put your pots on CD. Even though it's more things to manage it's overall better to control your pot usage to the best of your ability so that you'll have them ready when you really need them.
@nitsua2789: Yeah, it was difficult to avoid the meteors plus her attacks. Potion cooldown is no help at all. I guess I just need practice
@nitsua2789: Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know they changed her; haven't ran Oz in a few months. Thanks for correcting me.

@misterpang:
Dorothy uses the mines and the charged laser for the entire fight now (seen in the video above). She no longer stops and spams the Black Orb attack at all. She summons meteors constantly that move at a diagonal.
If you stand behind her you deal reduced damage and I believe the latest patch added a DoT so it isn't as safe as it appears in the video, but I haven't fought her since this DoT was added so idk how severe it is.
Eventually she summons clones of herself to the left but if you stay far away enough they typically wont attack. The first one she summons is killable but after that you can't attack them.
@skythedestroyer: Thanks for your input and tips! Hopefully I can attempt her soon
First off, Dorothy casts meteors much like Magnus does, but no meteor will one shot you. She also has a reverse Magnus aura, so if you get close you'll hit less damage. Throughout the fight there's almost no reason to have her out of your sight.
Also, she'll summon Toto, basically a mini-boss once at the beginning, easy enough to kill.
The first 50% of her HP:
- She'll summon these red spikes on the floor that will one shot you.
- She'll charge up and fire a laser that does more and more damage the further you are from her.
- She'll throw random bouncy energy balls. They don't do terribly much damage but it would be good to avoid.
After 50% HP:
- She'll stop using the attacks I mentioned above, but, if you die, she'll go back to using those attacks for a short amount of time.
- She'll start using a full map screen attack (sorta like Arkarium's, but only does like 30% of your HP). Pretty much a sitting duck at this point, only casting that again and again till she dies.
After around 75% HP remaining:
- A tornado will hit you, doing super knockback (like Magnus's spin attack), but unlike Magnus's spin attack, stance will prevent you from getting knockbacked. Just a minor nuisance that you'll have to bear with for 3/4s of the fight.
