Nw vs. Aran
Hey guys and girls of basil, i was wondering which would be better in terms of mobbing and a decent bosser. I have enough to get full faf gear on both with the rest emp equips and i can't decide which is better. I have played both classes to 110 and i like the amazing mobbing of aran but i also like the bossing of NW. (Also i've gotten used to the button smashing and my hand no longer hurts from it anymore so that doesn't move me away from aran)

@simaini: you obviously dont understand how bats work. you see those little things flying around and hitting all those monsters? thats your main method of mobbing, and it works really well.

Bouncing bats make up for NW's lack of mobbing pretty well. In fact, if you can kill the mobs you're training at in a couple of hits I'd argue that bouncing bats is better than standard mobbing skills because you don't have to move to cover a large area.
From what I heard Nw is decent at bossing and Aran's bossing is okay but they only hit like 4 lines per attack. I had the most fun training my aran out of all the other classes. I'd suggest Nw because in the long run you get more out of being a Nw in terms of bossing compared to aran.
@Finalily: yes i have. but i only played the revamped one for about half an hour. how easily you clear the map is dependent on your funding. night walkers don't even have a real 4th job mobbing skill, and by real i mean one without a cooldown. the bat omen skill is pretty cool but it's stationary and has a cooldown. NW mobbing now is like NL mobbing before the revamp but only a bit better..
@simaini have you even played night walker? i can clear the entire map easily quickly.
night walker's mobbing is horrid.
Aran's are a lot of fun and have a unique playstyle. NW is spam 1 skill and kill 1 thing with shadow bats flying around the place. I like NW because they remind me of the old NL where jump attacks are necessary to attack faster (plus they look more ninja-like when jump attacking haha). In terms of bossing when it's on paper NW wins. Mobbing = Aran. But the decision is all up to you
They're both pretty good in their own ways. In terms of mobbing, they are both pretty good but Aran would win for sure. Bossing wise, Aran would still be an alright competitor since it's attacks hit relatively fast and hard with minimal funding, while NW hits very fast and can easily out-damage an Aran. In my opinion NW is a lot better for me mostly aesthetically and it brings back a lot of good memories, plus I love fast attackers and throwing classes in general. Aran's one of my top classes too but it doesn't nearly have the same thrill to it as NW.
TL;DR - Aran is good if you know how to use it; then again, so is NW. Choose wisely.
Aran, because I'm starting up my Aran again. And at the moment, you would probably get better equips with the same amount of funding for the Aran since claws are still really really expensive.

i agree. i like night lords WAY better. training is way better, i still think NL's boss well. i just wished they didnt have glitchy hyper skills...

well i like aran's mount a lot and his play style along with beyond blade, but i also like the skills and the movement i have on my nw

this is true. my nw has a 40k range and its an alright bosser.
