@030999: Yeah but if they keep getting slower and slower that's kinda cool.

The bind, sure. But the slowing effect? We already have that, it's the skill "Slow."

Frozen Breath freezes (binds) bosses for 25 seconds on a 120 second cooldown. It sucks though, since it's a keydown (meaning the I/L can't do anything during it) and it shares a binding cooldown with much better binds like Demon Slayer's.

But the normal freeze effect is also changed to slow mobs instead of actually freezing them. Stacks up to 5 times, slows more with each stack, and affects bosses.

Ive played literally every mage class in the game. some i played twice. (as in made and trained) my highest are evan and I/L just because to me they are different. Evans are pretty damn good without much money and the dragon is beast. but you need cash item books..

I/L IMO are the best adventure mage just because lightning and ice are fun, even tho f/p is stronger with no funds i/l can hit faster and doesnt need to set up DoT to bring out their dmg to their full potential.

baM, Im just not gonna talk about them because i dont like them that much, but i will say they are pretty damn good for no funding. they have a hp drain or w.e skill in 3rd, and 2nd. where you will almost not need any hp pots. and they attack fast.

and fun is subjective. whatch gameplay and figure out which one you like most. or just try all 3 and see for yourself.

@magecrusher: I didn't see any skill about freezing a boss.

So still, I feel like stun and freeze is useless.
Evan probably cause they hit high and attack fast.

Evan is funnest too, at the moment.
Ice Lightning just feels so useless. Freeze and stun barely even help in the game, and Luminous has a godly version of Chain Lightning.
I believe in the red update we get a skill that is able to freeze a boss and increase dmg towards party members + we have aura which increase's stance by 20% , it can aborsb dmg by 20% and avoid status 20% which to me is pretty useful for bossing. I/L are useful in many ways + lumi has the slowest dps NA, it might have OP mobbing skills but compared to CL speed its trash.
I/L > Lumi for bossing.
Lumi> I/L mobbing.

Evan has higher % skil dmg and a are alot easier to fund than BaM and I/L.

Fun is subjective, your gonna get a biased opinion no matter what. what i can say about that is, just try out the class and make your own judgement.

I/L arent a bad class overall, they may have a low range but thats mainly because all if not most of their support skills dont appear in their range but in their dmg.
so you can obtain high dmg with low range. Personaly, i like I/L a lot, it was my main before pre-BB and i switch to BaM when BB came and just fell in love with BaM since then.
if you dont plan to fund your character that much but have a little spare nx for evan skill books.
1 - evan
2- I/L mage
3 - BaM
with funds.
1- evan (because of high % skill dmg)
2 - BaM (170+ mainly with BKB)
3 - I/L (until RED patch)

with similar fundings, evan is most likely the winner. BaM might have a very high range, but they have only a 200% dmg skill until lvl 170 when you get BKB wich is 400% dmg. and even then, it does take lots of fundings for a BaM to hit high.
as for I/L mages, altought i did main one, it was pre-BB and i pretty mcuh never touched it again, so i know very little about them.
