the manga = good
the anime = an unremarkable adaptation. why watch this when the art is so meh and the movement/VA doesn't add much?

i also don't like this current arc they're building up in the manga...

I liked how they ended off the season. I'm hoping for a season 2 like which will span from maybe chapter 60-120ish?

Eating and watching Shokugeki no Soma is the best.
Really not a fan to be honest. Each episode is like: watch me I'mma cook this amazing dish. Then the judge who tries it has a food-gasm moment and is like: OMG these <insert ingredient here> makes this dish have deeper/richer/whatever flavour BS. Rinse and repeat for 24 episodes.

Gintama is AOTY.
I like watching it cuz it makes me hungry. I love food so this is good for me =],

Nah, her father is such an asshole, but her grandfather gave Soma the permission to "save" Erina from her sith lord father.

Anime ended, but the manga is still going strong. It's going to get another season soon anyways. Speaking of the manga, Nakiri's father is such a...And Soma's already for the approval of grandfather, even though it's not mentioned formally, lulz.
