Minimum damage to solo chaos vellum?
Assuming i have perfect control, would 30m constants be enough to solo chaos vellum? Right now i hit 22m or so and it takes me about 15mins to get to 1/2hp, so i'm not exactly sure

That's where skills come in hand, pretty different from damage range, and what-not. 40mil is guaranteed. if anything, 90% chance of killing with a pro db, and a pro player, who knows their tactics.
On a paladin with bt and si mules, hitting about 40m per line on blast I solo with about 1-3 minutes to spare depending on how absurd he's being.
35m with mpe pot should be enough to barely kill it. using your hyper right before it goes down helps your dps a lot
If it helps, i've seens NL's solo with 38+m per line
IMO the run gets easier as you progress because you get more time to attack when he starts doing the laser and poison attack. If you are really soloing, you get to control tail aggro. Surviving should be no problem.
From personal experience when I was an NL, 40m+
You have to be constantly attacking and consider one death (with or without buff freezers) detrimental to the timer

yes tu, with max dmg i take it to half hp in less than 7 min ( with si and mpe )

Im aware that if i did double my damage i could kill it easily but like cherrytigers said, you forgot to factor in different cvellum scenarios such as he fact that the faster i get him to do mist/laser, the more time i have time to hit him. You also didnt see that it took me 15mins to get it to 1/2, leaving me 5mins to spare. Assuming that i double my damage and what i said earlier about getting more time to hit him is accurate, i should have 6mins 30secs left, but what i want to know is the minimum dmg i could possibly do to solo him and have time to pick up drops.
