I understand why you removed being able to see the comments of someone you're not friends with from their profile, but it's still kind of frustrating not to be able to read what else they have to say without knowing exactly what threads they have commented on. =x

As someone who doesn't play Maplestory anymore, I normally visit Basil for the forums that do not concern the game. That being said, the new layout doesn't agree with me.

I don't like how the front page screens is so big, it take so much space from the page.
All forum smashed into 1 and the video screen is so big?? meh

We need to be able to click straight into the last page of a thread from the main forum page like we used to be able to. ie: a thread with 780 pages would either have direct links to pages 780,779,778 etc or simply a link to the last page.

@mrbasil what is going to happen to the old threads? when I click a specific forum e.g. chat I can only see the latest threads and there is only one page of em.

This new site is too bright and hurts my eyes, literally.

For the people who keep repeating the line "why fix something that's not broken", what you fail to realize is that many features of the original site already were broken/outdated. The only things that actually worked well (most of the time) were the forums. Auctions were dead, skill, monster and item databases had not been updated in forever, basically everything on the site besides user written guides was outdated/obsolete.

Mr.B clearly had more planned for this site than for it to just be a place to chat, he's obviously just trying to make this a relevant fan site again. I don't get why people think complaining is gonna make things better, just be patient, or if you're really that salty about it then quit, but bagging on Mr.B for something that's already been done and is in progress just seems childish to me. Pointing out bugs is helpful, calling the site terrible isn't really helping anybody...

Please revert back to the original site.. I dont understand your reasoning for changing the site so dramatically but a BETA to see what the site would look like would have been better.. Not throwing us under the bus.

So I commented twice before (without response) about guides and my concern for them possibly being removed, and they were. My guide was completely removed.

What's the trouble to leave them as they were?

1) I submitted my guide twice to the wiki and I haven't heard back (all ~30k "words&quot
2) I want to be the only one who can edit my guide
3) I want to be able to make changes to my guide at my will and not have to wait for some moderator to approve it
4) Wikis don't have tofu tags and I've been saying since I came out with my guide that those are what holds it together.
5) I know a lot people read it because I get feedback in game all the time.

I made my guide for BM and as it stands (or doesn't), I'll have to move it somewhere else

Not sure if I'm the only one, but videos take more than my actual screen size. Same with screens. They're just all too tall.

Can't use this on my phone now, every time I try to zoom in or out the side bar opens and resets the zoom level. Also the skills tab is too long, classes get cut off after a while.

I dislike how the forum box on the front page has been put under the screens box and all the forum topics have been mashed into just newest threads. It may have taken more space, but I just liked it better when each forum topic had a separate box. I do like the stories box and wiki box on the sides. The fonts are nice and easy for me to read (I have slight dyslexia). I miss the like function and I'm glad it's going to come back. The new emotes aren't as cute as the old ones, though.

I find this new layout quite convoluted at best. It takes twice as many clicks to get where I want to go from the front page, and it takes twice as long assuming I know where to click (which I don't, in many cases). I also seem to be completely unable to post thread replies...let's see if this one works.

TO be Honest Mr.B This updated layout is bad, and whats worse, is its aestically (is that a word) UGLY. Its really Ugly, it just hurts my eyes, everything is too zoomed in as well.

tbh i'm not a big fan of the "mobile site" kind of theme but whatever

and the "everything together" kind of thing makes the site pretty disorganized and hard to navigate/find relevant topics. I would say I prefer the separate "general, maplestory, chat, etc" subforums

Suggestion: option to use old front page style. Or at least make the current front more organized like before..

Why are all of my stories turning into 404 errors?

Not at all opposed to the site changing. I have to report a possible bug with creating new threads. I created one and it's saying that I need to wait a little before doing it again and it's been about 20 minutes and it is still giving me that message.

A lot of stuff on the BasilID page is broken, but l'm really digging the direction you're headed with it. However, the page itself is a giant giant mess (stretching screenies and such on or profile page isn't such a good idea), as well as lot of the site itself, but l'm sure it will get better over time. A lot of the new site colors are also too bright and make everything posted on the website conflicting with each other as if competing for space.

Also on thread posts like this, making the posts appear above our avatars is quite strange; why fix what ain't broke?

Feels weird having everything not centered. Also, the text above the characters is really throwing me off.

A small recommendation, but can we have the user info displayed above their comment instead of under? Displaying under the comment makes it harder to fallow a conversation.
