BasilMarket Reset Early Early Info Greetings Basilers! I hope you're having a great summer! tl;dr: big basil "reset" coming soon-ish. Responsive! In the interest of keeping you all informed, I'd like to give an extended heads up about a relatively big site reset that's coming. There's no ETA as of yet, so you can expect another update or two before it goes live. **Why? BasilMarket will be 10 years old very soon. That's not just the community, but the "engine" that powers and enables the community too. Over the years we have tried a lot of ideas and features, some have stuck, some haven't and some are no longer in use. As a result, the site needs a serious clean up. Ideas to liven things up Hey all, hope you're doing well! It's that time of year again when people go back to school and inevitably MS / Basil quiet down. It's true, the game is so old now it probably could use a cane, but given all the updates and new content this last year it's clear that Nexon is still very much committed to keeping it fun. Although things are slowing down over the long term, each year brings a similar ebb and flow. Traditionally, fall is fairly slow due to school and then November and December become much more active and exciting periods. So don't get discouraged! I wanted to write here to reassure you that Basil isn't going anywhere! In fact, I have some ideas on how to liven things up a bit during this quiet stretch.
Questions for interview with Nexon Hi all! Having a good summer? It's pleasantly chilly here this week, a nice break from those hot summer days. Aaanyway, as you all know, there's a new community captain at Nexon (). Hey New things Greetings Basilers! It's been a long time since we've spoken. :) I hope you, your friends, family, and even mortal enemies, on and offline, are doing well through these perilous times. I'm sorry I haven't been more present. These last few years have been something else. :) I wanted to pop in and reconnect a bit and discuss some upcoming changes (everyone's favorite word!). The existing format isn't really doing justice to players and visitors. You should all be free to share screens, videos, and discuss in a simplified format, I think. Intermittent downtime up and coming Greetings Basilers, hope you're well and staying warm. I'm swiftly taking steps to move the site engine over to BM v10. Player Pic guidelines Hi all, hope you're well. I keep thinking that Nexon will eventually get the player rankings back up, but it's been long enough that I think it's time for me to put up some info on the guideline I use to determine what player pics get ok'd / rejected. Essentially, to keep the pics looking consistent, they need to be lined and centered both vertically and horizontally. This isn't a preference, it's just how Nexon does it so it's how I've done it. Below are links to two images. The first shows my player pic centered properly. Note how the feet are standing on the line and the vertical line touches the edge of the eye. This isn't always the case as some shoes dip below the bottom line and obviously the sizes of eyes vary.

Having trouble logging in? Greetings Basilers, for a couple of reasons, I changed BasilMarket's login system so that you have to login with your email address, not your username. I realize it was a mistake not to give you all any notice before doing so. Many pardons for the inconvenience this may have caused you. For the next little while I have re-enabled ID login again, so that you can login with your Basil ID or your email. This is to allow all of you to double check that the email associated with your account is still valid and current. After this time, I will permanently disable login with Basil ID. Bm v10 update - Sep 21 Greetings Basilers! Another week, another update on the BasilMarket v10 update. ##Buying, selling, trading, listings Now for some details on how buying, selling, trading and guild listings will work on BMv10. Given that the game is slowing down, it makes more sense to focus on making it easier for you to B/S/T (as opposed to the current cumbersome process) and post listings. The format will be fairly close to [url=https://www.maplestory2.tv/MapleStory2-Stories]how it works on MS2.tv[/url], which is to say that most things become 'story' based. That is, if you want to buy, sell, trade or are looking for guildies / friends, you add a story and tag it with the appropriate hashtag. For example: #selling ATK +99% Ring. C/o
Add Player Issue Resolved Greetings Basilers, hope you're all well! Due to Nexon's official site update the rankings changed slightly, thereby breaking our ability to get your player data. It is my hope that auctions and listings can be combined with stories.
