How many snow white threads do we need? It's all people asking the same question and the same people giving the same answers.
The problem is... they do not seem to stop. Hopefully this thread can help slow the amount of snow white threads.
[header]What is Snow White?[/header]
Snow white is one of 3 special jaguars you can get. The other 2 jaguars you can get are the Jaira and Armored Crimson. They're very much sought after due to the bonuses they give wild hunters, and getting one can be quite tricky sometimes.

To make this thread useful....
Yes, you can still get snow white. It spawns once every 60 hours after a server check or someone kills/catches it so it's hard to get... but yes, it exists.
It's in the same jaguar habitat where you acquire the basic jaguars... or the jaira. Check the channels frequently for the best results.
Tips:
>Check the jaguar habitat frequently. Do it early in the morning or late at night if you're in crowded servers... unless you're using my second tip you never know when one might
spawn.
>Use the 60 hour spawn time to tell you exactly when one will spawn. This only works after server checks, so keep that in mind. Write down when a server check ends... and add 60 hours to that. It definitely works and can be quite a useful strategy. (Credits go to @betaboi101 for making me realize I was being extremely vague in this post)
>Be patient... getting a snow white may happen on your first try, like it did for me... or it could take a far longer time than that. If you're having poor luck, pick up one of the many jairas and call it a day. You don't truly benefit from a snow white until 3rd job anyway, and jaira is far superior until then due to its increased speed.
[header]Armored Crimson[/header]
This is an interesting one as it is fairly new. It's more of a sidegrade to snow white as it's not outright better or worse than snow white.
Instead of giving stance like snow white, the crimson jag actually gives the rider 20% damage reduction and status resist.
It's extremely useful when bossing and for training at enemies that deal a ton of damage. I'm not sure on the spawn times for this one though, any help here would be appreciated.

Definitely still available. It spawns once every 12 hours(? correct if this is incorrect), and it can be useful till you get your hands on the trusty Snow White. Found in the... you guessed it, the same habitat where you get the basic jaguars and snow white.
[header]Which should I get?[/header]
Well, this is not so simply to answer anymore. The difference between these three is quite important.
Jaira has more movement speed and jump, whereas snow white provides some movement speed and 50% stance. This 50% stance is amazing because with the 3rd job skill Jaguar Boost you get a whopping 100% stance permanently as long as you're on your jaguar. This is insanely helpful, and with jaguar boost and feline berserk maxed you will surely be hitting cap speed even with snow white. Though, while it's easy to see that snow white is outright superior to the Jaira... one cannot say the same with the crimson jaguar. If you ever feel like you're in a situation where stance isnt as important and you're taking too much damage... opt for the crimson. If you dont feel like getting knocked around a lot then go snow white. It's all based on your situation really, and I love that. I'm a sucker for sidegrades.
TL;DR: Snow white and the Armored Crimson are the 2 jaguars you should be shooting for. They're both amazing but for different reasons. Be sure to find the right situations for both to maximize your utility as a wild hunter~!

Also, if you recently caught/saw a snow white/jaira/crimson... it'd be nice if you would post when you saw if it was within a couple days. If you just caught it, again, this could be extremely useful information for other people.
So please post the times/server when you catch/see a snow white to assist others in acquiring theirs.

It prevents knockback. So at 50% stance like that jag gives you have a 1/2 chance of not being kb'd.
At 100% stance like you have at 4th job... you never get knocked back now.

I actually prefer how snow white looks, but I can see why you'd prefer Jaira.
Maybe if Jaira had more glowing patterns I'd reconsider.
But yes, snow white is just overall better in basically every way.

When the server restarted for the Demon Avenger update i thought that it has been 60 hours since then but i have checked all the channels in the habitat and have not found one. Does anyone know the exact time that the server came back online or something?

Yeah, I just made a Wild Hunter yesterday and said if I found a snow white within five minutes I would keep my WH. And yeah, it just took looking in three channels to find it. And [i]then[/i] I read this thread today. So, yeah, it was luck and not this thread that got me the jaguar.

I'm almost positive the timer resets with a maintenance so yes, I do believe it would be pointless.

Someone got Snow White in YMCK recently as there's none as of 2 hours ago (18.51 GMT+ 1 [7.51pm])
I found Snow White 5:58 am pacific time 7/6/13 in El Nido channel 8. Hope this helps .

1) there arent many wild hunters
2) Most people are looking for a snow white instead

I don't see why they'd change it now, but if they do I'll just update the thread.
All the threads was just silly, it also made the wild hunter section look jumbled and chaotic. That's why I made this.

Yes. Way back when snow white first became available in the habitat is when I found mine, and the blue message was a bunch of upside down question marks. But now i've heard its been changed to say "Snow White has appeared from a valley" or something like that, so id keep an eye out for either.

But yeah... lack of info. That was my problem making this thread. I wanted to point out the hilarious number of threads, but I didnt want a pointless thread so I decided to add tips. Problem with that is there was so little useful info to add as it's pretty straightforward...
I got lucky as crap getting mine at Lv.27. I just wanted a jaira... and there it was. My jaw basically dropped.
I made a Wild Hunter for the character card.
When I reached level 10 and went for my first jaguar, Jaira was there. Upon reaching level 60, I entered the jaguar breeding area and guess what? Both Jaira and Snow White were there.
Seriously, just channel hope until you find one.

It's worth a try. If this thread dies a sudden painful death then so be it.
I just found the number of snow white threads amusing and wanted to comment on it... and it ended up turning into what the OP is now.
Nice idea, but it really isn't necessary. People are just lazy to check everyday and at different times of the day for the White Jag.
Also people don't use the search function to see how often the spawn time is. EDIT: So they constantly make new threads.
[b] All in all, Don't be LAZY and search every ch every morning/night daily. If getting a Snow White Jag is important to you then you will do all of these. [/b]
