Requiring Assistance with Running Maple

This is the message I get about 5 min into playing when my game crashes. Any help is appreciated. Was hoping to get this to work by 2x. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, done a "full shutdown". I don't know what else to do but to restore my computer to the time before the update that just happened last night on my laptop.

Thanks for all the help guys. It seems the issue resolved itself. Either that or I somehow managed to hit a lucky button and it worked.

It has to do with your anti virus if you don't run 3rd party software. This happen before for Norton anti virus and Nexon fixed this bug.
As above suggested, you should add maple to the ignore list and see if it work or not. If it doesn't then try to disable all anti virus completely.
If that doesn't work type msconfig and run it as admin then go to service and disable everything then restart (clean boot)

You should google how to clean boot a PC, it is basicly start up the computer no software will running.

I had this quite a few times a few weeks ago. Check to see if your antivirus is blocking it. After I added any Maplestory .exe files to the exceptions list, the errors stopped. This might be called something different for you depending on the antivirus program you are using, but it should be relatively similar.

@wall: been there, looked up my number and no article about it, checked a similar one too, no luck. Submitting a ticket now in hopes of making it for 2x.
