Aee- question

Why do they still exist? I know it may sound strange but like... star force interface is out and if you are using those scrolls to upgrade Tyrant then won't it cost around the same amount [or even higher than that]?

AEE's are good, mainly for tyrants (for the first 7 stars for example).
No Booms are good past 7 stars.
EE's are junk you throw at mule scraps.

@nanabanana
I'm so confident they don't boom, that I've used it on 21% legendary tyrant capes.

So just to understand, apparently even the first 100% success might boom [cause nexon], so you better use a superior shielding scroll? isnt it like investing extra 400-700m into it? or you just yolo every single Tyrant you get?

The only purpose is to use them on tyrants. Which is a pretty big deal. I'd be pretty disappointed if they were to remove them.

It's hard to argue this, every tyrant cape has innate 100m+ value (at least in windia NX1:110 and clean capes are 550m+, 5 starred are like 1.2-1.3b), every time you boom a cape you lose 100m, EE to 5 star is like 7% chance, pretty much they even out or more likely you will lose profit. Saves the harassment to buy a lot of NX though, but they also sell much slower than clean capes

Because first star on tyrant would be cheaper since it's 100%, rather than taking your chance with 50% at a cost of 55.8mil </3

Superior items (including Tyrants) use a different set of meso cost/success rate/boom rate to star force.
