@silverfoxr: When people say "pay to win," I think by "win" it's meant as of more of an excelling and succeeding in the game. You can't literally win Maplestory, but you can do wellâ€"courtesy of NX.
I have a childhood heart and I'm happy with it, it was free.

It's not like that heart is going to SUPER outdate your gear.. Its just slightly better and there isn't much around the server.

So... it's slightly stronger than Titanium Hearts, which is already pay to win, but people are mad that Nexon is giving exactly what people are paying for? I'm assuming you're not actually mad at the 'p2w' part, but you have a Titanium Heart, but now you actually want the new heart even though it's not really beneficial. If you don't have either... Well, why even bother comparing them, if both of them are p2w, and hence, 'bad'?
Kind of a logic error there... how is a game "Pay 2 Win" if there isn't a way to "win"?

Technically you're not winning automatically; you're paying for a chance to win, i.e. gambling. It's even worse than pay2win.
