No, I didn't. You can play in one mode as long as you want, switching at any time. However, you can't switch back immediately. And, dude I have mine at 120. It's like an overpowered version of my I/L. The whole concept was destroyed just to appease powermongers.

The cycling between light and dark made the class unique. Now it's like any other class. The thing that was butchered about it is the long cooldown to switch modes, which leads to the hyper point. The hyper skill seems kinda pointless seeing as you can switch any time you want now.
and how did GMS butcher Luminous? All they did was make it so you could spam light and dark skills. The game no longer forces you to switch. If you really wanted to switch, then do it yourself and quit complaining.

I dont see how the Luminous hyper skill that lets you enter equilibrium wouldnt work:
*uses hyper skill*
*is in the equilibrium state*
*?*
wheres the confusion here?
This
literally all nexon changed was the storyline, gave you both light and darkness at the start, and made it so it doesnt FORCE you to switch. You still need to fulfil the condition to switch into equilibrium mode (still pretty good to switch instead of just spamming 1 skill because of how amazing equilibrium is: no cooldowns, damage reduced to 1, stance, etc)
Question, so in that evolve world* im able to set up a training ground for my personal taste? And to set this place up, how much will it cost? (nx wise or meso wise?)
terribly sorry for derailing.. just really curious about this new feature.
you cant change everything. For example you cannot change the layout of the map.

Also you cannot make it that a monster has 1hp and gives 1mil exp. You can adjust the hp and the exp will be determined by that.

But you can change a lot of things
@SanjuPM: I don't think it costs any mesos or nx to create and modify your evolve world, but I can't say that for sure since I haven't tried that out in kMS. However, the part where you said that you could set up a training ground for your personal taste is true I think. Check orangemushroom's blog for more specific information
There are different cores for monster skins, music and stuff that can be bought for mesos from the npc or found inside the EW.
Then other cores such as spawn rate, hp increase and item drop that can be obtained in the EW for the better cores and the lesser ones bought.

Yeah you can make your own map for up to 6 people with cores to customize things, you get the cores from buying the lame~decent ones, good ones come from hunting mobs or bosses. The cores can customize things like mobs in the map, bgm, spawn rate, how the maps look. some cores can even spawn bosses like manon, empress cygnus (nerfed and drops her shoulderpad) or the cheif knights.

I noticed GMS has a habit of combining multiple patches together, in this patch we we're getting part 3, 5, and a piece of part 6 of tempest. Definitely think we'll get explorer hypers with AB (part 4) *probably sub-weapons too*, and resistance with the evolving world (other piece of part 6)
Gonna assume with the fact that we're skipping the patch tht had magnus (rather we get it with kaiser) explorers will get their skills with angelic burster, and resistance with evolving world
I can only hope.

I also have to wonder what they'll do with Luminous's level 150 buff. It's supposed to make you enter Equilibrium instantly, but with GMS's butchering...

I'm more interested in getting Evolving World

Heroes and Nova (Angelic Buster when she comes out). Other classes will get them after the Tempest Update (I assume February, March, and April).
