Will you stick to your Nl after revamps?
Hey fellow NLs, I was wondering if you are going to stay one after revamps coming this year. Mainly because of showdown nerf... Or if you are going to switch to another explorer thief class.
NL revamp from orangemushroom:
Haste: cast delay has been decreased from 1500ms to 990ms
Spirit Throwing (shadow stars): duration has been increased from 180 seconds to 200 seconds, cast delay has been decreased from 1500ms to 990ms
Shadow Partner: duration has been increased from 180 seconds to 200 seconds
Quadruple Throw: cast effect has been changed, hit sound has been changed
Sudden Raid: cast delay has been decreased from 3150ms to 900ms, this skill will no longer activate Damage Reflect --------- kinda good
Showdown: extra experience and item drop rate has been decreased from 30% to 10% ------------ Doesn`t include its hyper so it would be 40% to 20%
Purge Area (frailty curse): cast delay has been removed
Dark Serenity (dark harmony): duration has been increased from 180 seconds to 200 seconds, cast delay has been decreased from 1500ms to 990ms
Four Seasons (death star): cooldown has been increased from 8 seconds to 10 seconds --------- meh...
Bleeding Toxin (bleed dart): DoT damage has been increased from 190% to 1000%, this skill can no longer be debuffed ---------- this looks pretty op?

@xmaplelegend: the only time i use dark sight is for bit times in hard magnus or cvel, it avoids only the falling stuff but you still get insta killed as if u were not on ds... so yea, go ahead nexon, remove this skill that used to be so awesome in the old days

Dark Sight is getting nerfed later. When in Dark Sight and you dodge a %hp attack, you will be removed out of Dark Sight and the skill will go on cooldown for 3 seconds (stacks up to 5 times, meaning the cooldown can be as long as 15 seconds).

imo, I think NL got the short end of the stick, when it came to balancing. In terms of main attacks, we didnt get no buff. I wish either we can throw 1 more stars, so our damage is more comparable with newer classes, or a shorter delay on QT or better, increase shadow partner copy %.
Note that Death Star Cooldown goes to 14 seconds in a future patch which is complete bs. Dark Knight has a similiar Hyper to us and although it went to 10 sec CD as well, it wasn't 14 secs and it now attacks 10 enemies, so I think Nexon is picking on NL.

So how good does the DoT change on Toxin from 190% to 1000% make NLs?
@ohjoseph: Yea, I mostly use death star for when magnus goes up into the air for his purple laser hands of death attack. I'm not thrilled about the 14 sec CD because it basically doubles it without making the skill any more useful.

Im not sure, this was the last orangemushroom thread i saw. But still, I use the death star as first attack or when my quadthrow cant reach the mob itself (hard magnus when it goes up for example) so it wont affect (me) that much
Yeah, no major losses here... Not even considering switching.
Are you joking? These are all buffs. Duh showdown is losing exp but it still means we're gaining more exp than nearly every other class, and unless you're pushing for 250, all you really need to get to is 210.
In essence we just spend less time buffing, and Bleed Dart is 5x more helpful in bossing. (Plus QT will actually look cool).
in some aspects this is a night lord buff and the training aspect is being nerfed. not a huge issue. I'm going to try out night walker for now until the nerf hits them and then move back to my nl

we lose 20% drop and exp so its not that bad and the extra 2 sec cd isn't that bad.
I like the updates, i just wish we didn't have to use shadow web to vertical jump especially with a 5 sec cd
that's a nerf not a revamp imo
