NEW CLASS:

1. Jett
The mysterious pirate that uses laser blasters and high-tech arsenal is making her appearance in Maplestory! Her mysterious device, known as the Core, will surely help her gain vengeance towards Burke!

NEW CONTENTS:

1. Part-Time Job
You will find many changes to the character selection screen, one addition is the Part-Time Job System! In the character selection screen, you may click the Part-Time Job button to start the system:

-You may take part in a part-time job for up to 6 hours
-After a certain amount of time, you can receive rewards.
-The longer you participate, the better the rewards become!
- There are 5 part-time jobs for up to 3 characters to participate with at one time:
1. Rest
-the character undergoes intense relaxation. Special rewards includes various buffs such as experience gain.
2. Herbalism
-Various herbs can be collected.
-Special rewards include rare recipes.
-If your character has mastered the profession of Herbalism, you may receive better rewards
3. Mining
-Various ores can be collected.
-Special rewards are rare equipment and accessory recipes.
-If your character has mastered the profession of Mining, you may receive better rewards
4. Accessory Shop
-You can collect useful USE items.
-Special rewards are various scrolls
5. Weapon/Armor Shop
-You can collect useful DROP items.
-Special rewards are random equipment items

2. The Character Card System
Another addition to the new character selection screen is the Character Card System! You can press the Character Card button to participate

-For every level 30+ character you have, you will be granted one Character Card
-Properties of the character card come from the race, job, and rank of the character.
-Once your character cards are put into the Card Deck, all characters in that world will receive the effects of the cards.
-When three cards are used together, a special deck effect is given.
-There are 3 card slots per deck, and a total of 2 decks.
-The Card's rank is based on the level of the character:
1. Level 30-69: Rank B
2. Level 70-119: Rank A
3. Level 120-199: Rank S
4. Level 200: Rank SS

-Cygnus Knights can only reach Rank A (at level 120).
-For each job, different stats are given. Stats improve as the rank of the card improves.
-You can obtain a special set by meeting requirements such as: 3 Warrior Character Cards or 3 SS Rank Character Cards
-Special sets allow you to gain additional stats

3. Level-Up Guide

-The Level-Up Guide button is located above the Quick Move button (on the left pane of the game screen). You can find recommended training areas, quest, and party quest.

4. Instant Dungeon
-Horntail, Von Leon, and Zakum are now instant dungeons. You will no longer have to wait to obtain a channel, and an unlimited amount of parties can enter one channel.

5. Navigation System

-The new navigation system can direct you to your destination with arrows!
-There are two ways to gain access to the Navigation System:
1. Through the Quest Window, you can press the "Get Directions" button. This will allow you to easily track down NPCs so that you can complete various quest.
2. Open the World Map, press the "Register Directions" button, and click on any dot on the map.
-After you have set your location, a red arrow will appear above you and point you towards your destination!

REVISED CONTENT:

1. Thief Class Revamp

-Thieves that were made before the patch are able to receieve one free SP Reset from the Maple Admin upon logging in.
-Once obtained, the SP Reset will expire in 3 days
-You may trade in old mastery books or skill books to the Maple Admin in exchange for mastery books for the new skills.

-Nimble Body: Accuracy and Avoid boost increased. Master level decreased from 20 to 10.

3. Neo City

-Maps and monsters have been rearranged.
-The area is now recommended for maplers that are over level 125.
-Upon finishing the quest line, you will receive:
1. Andy's Master Book - a book that gives you a level 30 mastery book for your class (except for Maple Warrior)
2. Time Traveling Character Medal: +6 to all stats, +400HP/MP, +1att/m.att, +50def/w.def, +200acc/avoid
3. Time Travelers' Laurel: Hat that gives +10 to all stats, +200 HP/MP, +200def/m.def, +400 acc, +100 avoid, 7 slots! It is also unidentified and it's guaranteed to be epic on reveal.
-Time Sand: Can be collected from Nex to trade in scrolls with Andy.
1. 10 Time Sand = Time Travelers' Laurel Only Scroll (Maximum of 1 per character)
2. 30 Time Sand = Chaos Scroll (Maximum of 3 per character)
3. 100 Time Sand = Miraculous Chaos Scroll (Maximum of 1 per character)
-You can only enter each boss 20 times a day.
-You will be able to return the Time Diver to Andy at the end of the quest line.

4. Party Quest Adjustments

-Moon Bunny's Rice Cake, First Accompaniment, Dimensional Crack, and Ice Knight's Curse are all level 50+ party quest.
-Ghost Ship in the Sea Mist is now for levels 120-159.
-The Monster Carnival is open to anyone over level 80.

5. Monster Park Adjustments

-The monsters have had their strength lowered and levels have been adjusted
-You are still required to have Tickets to enter the Monster Park:
1. Zebra Striped Ticket Pieces drop from monsters level 50-94.
2. Leopard Striped Ticket Pieces drop from monsters level 125-159.
3. Tiger Striped Ticket Pieces drop from monsters level 160 and over.

6. Various Town Adjustments
-Sleepywood, Orbis, Ludibrium, and Omega Sector monsters and quest have been reorganized!

EVENTS

1. Couple's T-Shirt Events
-Speak with Jacob in Amoria to receive t-shirts that give off a special effect when you are near your spouse!

2. Jett-Up!
-Level your Jett up to receive various cash shop items! Including 2x EXP and Drop Coupons, Pets, Clothes, Facial Expressions, and MORE!

3. Renegades Level-Up Bonanza
-Play your current thief, or make a new thief or Jett character to get some great rewards as you level up.
-Rewards include SP Reset Scrolls, a Mastery Book, and special job equipment!

4. Renegades Festival
- From 6/28 - 8/7 you can log in everyday to receive a Renegades Coin!
-You can also earn coins by accepting quest given by the Maple Admin and Spiegelmann to complete Party Quest.
-Trade your coins into NPC Conor for some awesome items!

5. Ancient Artifacts
-Random artifacts drop from various monsters that are near your level.
-You will be awarded with points towards special Archeologist items.
-Rare artifacts may drop which start you on a quest to deliver them to certain NPCs.
-Complete 8 of the quest to receive a permanent medal!

6. Hot Time Events
-Character Slot Coupon, Level Up Potion, Item Lock Vouchers, Mysterious Love Letters, and MORE!
-Stay tuned for upcoming Hot Time dates!

7. Hyper Teleport Rock Fridays Return!
-From 6/29 - 8/3 receive a FREE Hyper Teleport Rock (7 days) by entering the cash shop!
-You can claim only ONE item per account per applicable ay

8. Lucky You!

-Log in and accept NPC Cassandra's quest to receive one Pendant of the Spirit (30 days)
-Pendant of the Spirit: Boost EXP more the longer you wear it.
