@Buster1651: Nah it's cool. Well yes and no. I didn't mean the gardening tool nor did I mean anything sexual about it. Yes the way it is more leaning towards the inappropriate side but the fact is the word I am using regardless of w/e context you think it is. Isn't a bad word. Really what does DmgHoe really mean? If you think about it DmgHoe context isn't even bad. All it means is doing a lot of dmg or someone who likes doing big damage. Anyways though I wrote a ticket to Nexon already. If they feel I need to change it then I will but only if they provide me a name change. Already invested Nx into my char and not going to delete it. Plus it's already 150 and too lazy to redo. Just hoping that all i get is warnings and nothing worse like a perma ban.

@Omniscient1 I know what a gardening hoe is. However I do believe you meant the other meaning like you said. It may not make sense to call someone a Dmgprositute however it also doesn't make sense calling someone a DmgGardeningTool. If you weren't talking about the gardening tool, it makes your IGN pretty inappropriate considering there's no other meaning to hoe besides the tool and a hoe. Btw I heard some people are getting the same pop up for saying Hene Hoe. You can choose to believe me or not, I don't really care either way though. I am just stating facts (Sorry if I come off abit rude in this message ).

The word hoe means garden tool lol. Look it up on google. Yes, I did not really mean the garden tool since the world Ho was taken and couldn't use that. However, it still doesn't take away the fact that my ign isn't inappropriate. it's the garden tool. Also keep in mind I am not even talking about anything sexual either. It makes no sense to call someone a Dmgprositute. DmgHoe is as harmless as calling somone a Hene Hoe.

OT: I got the pop up again but so far still not banned. I sent a ticket and explained everything. If they want me to change the ign then I will do so but they better provide me with a way to change the ign. Seems like im just going get spammed with pop ups though. Which is annoying.

try not logging on and log on when name change coupon is available to not risk being banned XD this is just an idea, this may take a while.

Just play on the safe side and not ignore their warning.

I've had the same problem. Been banned twice already. What I did first was transfer all valuables to another account. Try to stay out of towns in Channel 1 as well as the FM. I tested a few mules and they were banned only when in towns at around 9-11am PST. Been waiting to change names for about a month now.

Thing is all items are untrable or needs unless psok and im not going to psok items back and forth. It's really stupid that all of sudden they are messing with accounts with inappropriate igns. They were never that stricted before about it and now they just suddenly "care". I am going to send a ticket though and see if they offer me a name change at least .If not then w/e ill just deal with and take the risk. There really no way to fix this besides deleting your char and remaking which I won't since I already started to fund this one.

I know either they should change it like they do for shops with "inappropriate" names or they should give you a free name change coupon to change it yourself. Telling someone to change there name or be banned, but don't give any options to change the ign not even buying it with nx is stupid. No one is going to delete there character especially if they have nx or good untradable items on that char. Really though the intelligent thing to do is to just not allow those names in the first place. Update there filters so when you try to put that ign it says you "can't use that name." That way no one would have to be in this mess but no that be too easy. Way too easy and smart for Nexon.

They really need to give people the option to be banned or have nexon randomly generate a replacement ign if they aren't going to sell name changes in Cash Shop. I don't understand why they are banning people with "inappropriate" names since those are the people I usually see with the most NX and are therefore their best customers.

I just received it now. I've been banned 3 other times in the past for my ign too. I actually just go unbanned yesterday. Oh we'll maplestory is dead anyways.

I guess so and they even expect you to delete your character i guess too. Since they said to change it now or you will get banned. Nexon is incredibly stupid. I seen far worse igns than mine and I get a pop up for something so insignificant. yes I chose my name to mean what it says not really the garden tool(the world Ho was taken) but it's just like the word hene hoe. It's harmless and doesn't mean anything sexual at least through maple terms.
