What should I do about Maplestory?

Alright, I tried 5th job for a week or two now, and I don't really like the new content. There's been no quests for the new regions, just dailies for arcane symbols. I meant there's one but it is so short, and to be honest the whole arcane things is more like some pleb area instead of a town, flourished with NPC and you know what, like Magatia, Orbis, those real towns. As such I'm wondering what should I do with Maplestory now?

Due to the reasons above, I've little to no motivations to level up if the Chew Chew island and the Lucid's town are similar as well. I haven't really done Haven but I'm wondering if it's just like another pleb area? Or is it like Twilight Perion or Future Henesys at the very least (those two are quite bad as well, but not as bad as arcane one)? If Haven is at least "interesting" with many NPCs offering quests, I might switch there instead of the boring arcane.

I also cannot quit my main character for some reasons. Maybe it's because I keep thinking about all the untradeable gears I've upgraded on him. Should I just drop some of the gears? It's been really boring now, yet I can't let go of it. I don't really want to delete him though, the SS card can be some use.

Aside from that, I guess the last question is a question that's asked so many times already, like what kind of class can I play? I'm looking for some classes that have some gimmicks to play with but not too complicated as well. Luminous caught my attention and his theme looks good, but I'm wondering if there's other classes that have some sort of trick to play but not too complicated in nature? What I meant by complicated would be F/P, Mechanic, Kinesis, Evan, Zero and the likes, like micro-managing tons of stuffs and stare at the cooldownds, I don't like them. Luminous is easy to switch side by looking at the big circle by using and light and dark skills so I guess it won't bother me as much as staring tiny icons' cooldown and whatnot.

TL;DR :
1) Is Chew Chew island and Lucid's town as bad as arcane region in term of "size"? Will there be a lot of NPCs in Chew Chew island and Lucid's town offering quest or it's same as Arcane region that only offers dailies?
2) How about Haven? Does Haven has a lot of NPC offering quests to do?
3) What class has some interesting mechanism to play with but not too complicated? Something like Luminous.

I think this'll be the last thread about me asking about the "value" of Maplestory / classes, beyond that if I still have any doubt I guess uninstall is the way. No point in questioning myself so many times for a game. But just this one last time tho. Thanks.

uhm id say try to look for an objective in the game:
-Try to do jump quests
-Finish the monster book
-Do all quests available in the game( a friend did that)
But most important, make friends, so when u log on u can chat with them, even if u dont play at all at least u have friends to chat when ure on and ure not all alone
-Also try to do party stuff with people
-Try new characters, personally i love Shade, its very easy to play and man , his storyline is the most beautiful of all the maple characters in my opinion, like the one that touched me the most.
-Also try to enjoy the events that nexons releases, etc.
-I really really recommend to do the Heroes of Maple questline, the story is very entertaining and it isnt that hard to do. Blackheaven, the story is very nice, about Lotus and Ochid.. but the thigns u had to do while on it really annoyed me idk y, and i dont like that robot maps at all =P , this quest can be found at Ereve Conference room , u have to talk to a bird thats on the left.
BUT SPECIALLY, MAKE FRIENDS.
Hope it helped =)

@ourania: Well if you don't like the content and you literally have to ask people to guide you through how to have fun, then it really isn't a game for you, now is it?
You got bored of 5th job after two weeks, aren't enjoying the updates, literally don't know what to do to have fun on your own, so really, what better option is there than to just quit? Its better than crying on basilmarket all day.

@fradddd: I recently played a pally and a corsair, and I couldn't look away from my buffs for 10 seconds
their whole dps is relied on buffs that last for 30-60 seconds

1) only lachelein is slightly bigger, i woudnt say theyre bad and small, consider whole arcane river as one town. idk how can u trash on it so far i felt very touched by the quests and music, something none of your "real towns" made me feel but to each their own tastes
2) yes haven is bigger, it has its own blockbuster and even some quests after it, i personally like this place a lot
3) what? are u serious? asking about late game content and u dont even have a solid main character? u aint enjoying this content ever if ure unable to put some dam good love into a character regardless of its job, ure sooo behind, and u wonder why ppl are just telling u to quit smh it seems u arent getting anywhere no matter how good the game was

Well, like you said with the class...pretty much any besides the ones you listed are easy enough to play. Every class has to watch cooldowns though and manage certain things.

Bow Master, Marksman, Wind Archer, Bishop, Luminous, Corsair, Buccaneer, Cannoneer, Shade, Angelic Buster, Night Lord, Dual Blade, Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight, Demon Avenger.
All those are for sure easy to play/manage.

@ourania: I mean, it can be a serious answer. It can mean something like quitting for an X amount of time, or at least taking a break from the game. Then coming back a little later and you may have a fresh perspective on it (and maybe some more new content will be out by then that suits your fancy).

It doesn't make sense to ask these questions - since you seem to be bored of the game, it may be better to just answer those questions yourself rather than asking others and to actually experience what Haven and etc. and other classes have to offer. You seem to have already made up your mind on some of these parts, though. If you really want some kind of opinion though, I'll just say that the Haven quests are no different than that of other areas like Twilight Perion/Future Henesys as you said (aside from what was mentioned above). But that's just me.

@piana, Wow, get yourself some beer please.
@vicetone, Well, to be frank, quitting is my last resort kind of thing, yet you guys are like, "Don't think too much! Just jump off the cliff!", yeah.

@modsaredumb, Thanks for the helpful response! At least there's still a Haven out there for me to read some dialogues. But I guess I'll make a bishop instead. I just know that the door doesn't need any magic rock now, and that'll be so GODLY for a quest fanatic like me.
@chros, @vicetone, You guys are the reason why Maplestory community sucks.

1. From what I've seen, Chu Chu and Lachelin use the same structure as Vanishing Journey. Chu Chu does a daily party quest though instead of daily gatherer/hunting quests so that helps to mix things up a little and provide party play content which this game desperately needs. I haven't gotten to Lachelin yet but I've heard it's the structuring as the previous (but I could be wrong).
2. Haven't been to haven in a long time since, at least in Reboot, Scrapyard is really laggy for no apparent reason. Haven't checked back to see if it's fixed yet but I'm pretty sure Scrapyard follows the typical gather/hunt quests with nothing interesting behind them. They do have some dailies as well for the absolab tokens but you gotta be capable of killing Lotus for them to be of any use. But I'm pretty sure there were a number of NPC quests out there last I know.
3. Mihile is a good one unless you're always under lag. Royal Guard, at first, was really boring and pointless but towards the closer end-game it gets really cool to master his god-mode block and understand boss patterns/animations. Simple playstyle since it plays just like a Hero but with a cool block mechanic. Other classes I could recommend are Buccaneer, Kaiser, Corsair, and Paladin.
