They are not fake. They are glitched and gave been for very long now. We are still waiting for Nexon to fix it. Don't believe me? Try opening the mystery mastery books (not class ones) from event shop.

I don't know, gotten 2 MMBs that were freshly looted from ToT and gave me the same error.

they're not illicitly generated. MMBs that drop from ranmaru stack with any other mmb and apparently the whole stack becomes unopenable

They're not "fake" - they're glitched.

I have 3 of these books, two of them I looted legitamately from monsters. They simply don't work due to some messed-up glitch. Currently, the only MMBs that DO work come from Inkwell.

For people calling the TS dumb about not knowing about the MMB glitch, look at when he posted this thread and watch the video -_-. In the video it clearly shows him [b]OPENING[/b] one and another one [b]NOT[/b] being able to be opened. Also he started this thread [b]one month ago[/b] before the MMB glitch. In my opinion, nexon found out about the MMB exploit and decided to make all the MMB unable to be opened around 2-3 weeks ago or so.

you're a well known nightlord but you call these fake, i thought someone such as yourself would be a little smarter? they're glitched. whether they're bought from the fm or dropped by monsters. they won't open at all.

This has been out in GAZED for the past week, maybe longer but at least a week so far

@OneRockGod: There were two different glitches. The first one was glitched in such a way that they could have been believed to be fake. The second glitch is clearly not fake. They fixed the first one that I made this thread about the day I made this thread

I got one from the boxes I get from Monster Park . . and it's unopenable

They're not fake they're all glitched I have 500 left and I opened some awhile ago and now it won't let me open anymore since a few weeks ago also I got one on my DB at ToT and I couldn't open that either

yup that happend to me too.

So how exactly can you tell if its a fake MMB? By trying to open it and telling your inventory is full? I got one from a drop in ToT and I tried opening it but it still tells me my inventory is full.

Umm actually I got a Mmb from Stronghold mobs during 2x and I couldn't use it so maybe there glitched atm or somthing? Idk just offering my 2 cents on the subject.

Last patch MMBs that were dropping freshly were glitched.

The issue was resolved in a brief maintenance, but MMBs during that period of time are infact glitched, until Nexon decides to create and NPC to exchange them for fresh MMBs, or until they rot away on everyones' mules.

Well I don't see how my mmbs could be fake seeing I got them from mobs I figured it be a glitch in their game for the reasoning as to why I couldn't open them. It was just after that USC or SC occurred don't really recall which is was that messed everything up. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter now I'm hell banned so even if I could open the books I'd just fill up my inventory needlessly seeing i cant drop anything.

Edit: Oh. I didn't see these recent comments - Interesting! This must be why I'm finding it so hard to get books I need.

@paying: I'm sure that MMB's are not fake (the ones coming from the shops) I've got 3 MMB's from Monster Park and 1 from mobs in different characters and I can't open them. So in overall MMB's are glitched, not fake though.

Better to store them on a mule character then open the books when the glitch is fixed.

i found one at the blue dragon turtles @ leafre and it didnt open. i think its more a glitch lol

I had just got an MMB from beating Busted Ravana as a quest reward and its not opening saying my use inventory is full so it's a glitch after all.

They weren't like this before. I made this thread in v132. It would be more fake than just a glitch with the other ones because seemingly only those massive botter stores had the fake ones and stuff dropped by like expedition bosses could still be opened. The current issue is a glitch instead

Seeing how he bought them from a store, it's easy to make assumptions of them being faked, along with duped items.

Rather than them being fake, wouldn't you say they're just glitched? I just got a few from Empress, which I couldn't open.

@javar77 The current issue in v134 mimics this issue but the broken mmbs seem to be from legitimate sources now. It wasn't like that during the patch where I made this thread

I've had an error with MMB's. This comes from my stack i've had prior to the GU. It seems nexon must've done something so just need to wait till they apply the fixes.

Even if they don't work for now, they will fix them sure enough. The prices haven't drop at all, unlike the first time when this was report they went down to 3m which doesn't seem like a lot but when you buy bulks of 100 at a time it sure adds up the savings.
