Mabinogi players of basilmarket
Hi, I've always wanted to make a thread about this game in the mabinogi section before it got removed, but I was pretty shy about it/didn't really no what to write. Anyway, Who here on basilmarket actually actively plays mabinogi? Server/ign? Maybe some people interested in starting? I guess I'm down to have a conversation about anything involving the game if others are willing to as well.

@Plenair: Excluding gen stuff, your current plan will likely take a pretty long time and you can decide what you want to do during that time. Just make sure you are doing windmill

The only possible ways to exploit the under total 1k limitation are to farm exploration exp using gacha statues, or raising a bunch of skills then resetting them, raising a bunch more, resetting and so on.
Yes, you can get both additional cards that way

Lance is the way to go. It's the best form of close combat (Though it's usually mained instead of a secondary). Fighter typically blows in all aspects. This game is based off the ability to use aoe skills, or the ability to manage multiaggro using skills associated with a particular skillset. Fighter offers none of these. It has its uses, but its very very small. Though, it is a pretty decent choice as a secondary.

@Plenair: Ninja (and all dual stat skillsets) aren't a good idea to start with, despite it being in the beginner tab. Mobs with huge hitboxes in general are also annoying as all can be lol (big spiders, like the one you were facing all share this trait. One of the daily shadow missions can be a mission with a huge spider at the end. It seems like it can hit me a mile away sometimes, so it's not necessarily just you)
Majority of shadow mission bosses (and other bosses) don't have huge obnoxious hitboxes
@Plenair: Infinity hit dual blade skill? Final hit?

Wow, everyone here is from alexina...the "new" server
I'm from Mari and ign is Killer. Mari is pretty active...not as much as alexina where it took majority of the new players.
This game gotten pretty easy lol, and was actually bored until ninja came out. Wish there were more dungeons like peaca int (them ghasts are fun)...where ele is useable unlike abyss
@Plenair: Lol assault slash is simple. As soon as you knock down an enemy, spam the button you have Assault slash assigned too and it'll work. I thought it was weird how the Cutlasses were the only item that gave the notification at the top when you found it, even though the Tioz armor set and the Admirals were both the more valuable items. Also, that infinity hit skill is called Final Hit. Pretty awesome but pretty AP costly.

Oh, nope. Not familiar with that at all sorry haha. My character is pretty young relatively
@paying: I just remember how fun the Treasure hunt event was when Iria was first released. The one where you walk around with L Rods and find chests and stuff? Tioz armor being like...the rarest thing ever lol. I spent like...a whole week doing nothing but walking through Iria listening for beeps >_> That's what I want back.

Hmm. That's currently not an issue (but you can ctrl+click the items). Also, if you mean the thing that gives fine reforging tools at a chance from the boxes, they juuuuust had that a week or two ago.
@paying: I remember the last time this event was around, there were players who were using hacks to buy out the entire store before anyone else had a chance to get anything. If they bring back the Iria Treasure Hunt event back, that would be the best!
@Cloudshadowv: yeah. Its pretty useful for tailoring and weaving and blacksmithing and carpentry

Well maybe this thread can help with that. That being said (this goes for everyone else as well) feel free to add me. Cross server adds are welcome as well, but my character is in alexina.
Also another thing I can add to this thread is if anyone needs any advice or answers to anything, feel free to ask. I guess I'm pretty well versed in a lot of mabinogi aspects, and if I can't answer myself ill try and get a friend to give an answer to give to you.

@DefenseCurl Well one of the cool things about this game is you can add/note people cross server. You can't actively play with them (wouldn't that be cool) but at least it's something

Anyway, this isn't much, but this thread got a lot more attention than I was expecting from the start. I wasn't expecting more than one or two people to actually be playing!
