Latale season 2 - the storm
Hello members of basilmarket, I was curious if members of this website are currently playing or coming back to it since the "storm" update (which is basically latales big bang, and has finally been applied to the official servers after an unnecessarily long delay). I have been thinking of playing this game since maplestory has gotten to the point of infinite repetition so I have been contemplating playing latale. I am making this thread to see the community opinion of this game, and how many people from here play it.

Latale: when you actually want to play a decend 2D MMORPG.
Maplestory: Requires NX for cubes and stuff to keep up the DMG with other players and you reach lvl100+ in 2~3 days....
I played MS since beta and this game became bad...
(Maplestory was better in the good old days)
latale in my opinion is a whole lot better than maple.
amazing music
anime/cute art style
easy as hell to make friends because the community is just that good

I haven't played La Tale since the original launch. I'll probably download it and see whats up
The game is amazing, it has wonderful music and the gameplay is great.
Dungeons and maps look/feel awesome and the community is friendly.
I'll be going back to it soon.

Apparently they did an ign purge. I don't know exactly when, I just read about it. So depending on when the last time you logged in was, your characters may not even be there (or be forced to renamed)
@Chema: Must be just you then. I see tons of people and haven't lagged a bit (even during storm as long as I'm not in a main town I'm latency free)

I Installed this game about 4 weeks ago to test it out and the lag was the same
the only difference from now and then is that now there is no one playing this game besides the "henehoes" making inside sex jokes in belos and elias (main towns)
I'll try it again. Last I played was 2 years ago, I think
@SHERIFFVash Yeah they changed exp values at higher levels now (apparently level 200 wasn't even possible until season 2)
@TheDStar You're too cool for this game anyway, I don't even know why you even bothered to download it in the first place!
@epicalforum Yeah the movement and stuff is definitely different and what not, while the concept of the game is the same I can see as how someone who's "used to maplestory" wouldn't enjoy it from the beginning
At all the lag comments - The server has been upgraded sometime within the past year and it was perfectly fine. However with season 2 there is pretty bad lag in towns currently but this will probably be fixed later on
It took 1.5 seconds for each button I press to take effect in the game.
*Presses Attack button* -> *1.5 seconds passes* -> *Attack takes effect*
They have better looking characters than maple.
The moment I logged in, I logged out and uninstalled.
So yeah.
Latale has only 5 channels and only 2 of them are barely 50% full
and the lag is insane
The game is awesome, but the company that handles it (OGP) is incompetent at best
don't waste your time
npc ur stuff and donate it to priest guy in town.
