So is nexon ever going to do anything about the 2x problem?

I guess i'm impatient, but i would like to have my 9knx back from Christmas' 2x exp fail .

less people play in gms but we spend alot of money on this game per person on average

bs this game makes them a ton of money and has been making more and more every year. nexon is doing prety dam well in korea

What Nexon is doing is extracting the remaining cash value from an aging intellectual property which is on its way to becoming a liability.
Adding the type of content you suggested costs them money because of the people they have to pay to actually develop content like that.
Simply rehashing the same thing over and over can be much more easily done simply by changing the artwork and calling the characters something else.
Meanwhile variations on the same old Cash Shop types of items are pushed into the game in an attempt to maximize short-term profitability as long as possible.

yeah it was just a reminder, they probably won't be back into their offices till after new years. Though that's a guess of course, so don't really expect any type of response till after then.

If they haven't addressed it yet, you should stop waiting and focus on more positive things. I'm not saying it's right -- I'm just saying that I doubt anything will be done.

probably after the holidays. Till then, probably not; make sure you send in a ticket about it and everyone else that bought the 2x as well during the event as well as post about it on their forums.. not basil.
