@Premies: They are enjoying what they're doing, the parents and the kids both, so I find nothing wrong with watching their happiness for pure entertainment. If the kids didn't want to be in pageants then I would find it as child abuse, and utterly revolting. I see no problem with watching these shows, but apparently you do.

I was born a normal human being, I watch TV for entertainment. The people in Degrassi are ACTORS. I feel like this show gives an example on what you shouldn't do. Degrassi shows a teen making a bad decision and then what happens after they made that decision.
