Do you have one of those friends

That you feel you can tell everything and anything to? One that's ALWAYS there for you no matter what?

I've always had a fairly large group of friends, but I don't think I've ever found a real bestfriend or someone I would trust with my life. I want one

I use to, but I learned that letting another individual know everything about you isn't necessarily a good thing. I use to divulge a lot more about my daily goings when I was a teenager but then I grew out of that habit and I don't miss it.

Everyone I meet who's that kind of friend for me ends up leaving for various reasons after a year or so.
And then we stop keeping touch a year or two afterwards.

I feel I don't that close to people anymore as a result.

Tbh, I just tell random friends my problems. I don't like to pile all my vents to one person.

Nope.
I don't trust anyone enough.

Same sex, and it's fine
We're practically opposites in terms of appearance

Ya

My cat's a real bro.

I used to have a human to tell things to, until he betrayed me.

Woah, a judgement-free Church, never seen one of those before.
OT: One online and one irl, though I haven't talked to the irl friend in a while because of school differences and stuff.

No, because it's a friend's job to make fun of his other friends.

The deepest thing my best friend and I have discussed is stuff about girls.
My female friend who I know pretty well now told me some pretty deep stuff, like secrets, and I told her what "secrets" I had...

I don't know. As a guy I find it less dramatic to discuss these things, and I also find that I don't have anything to tell in the first place.

I don't think it's in my personality to feel comfortable talking to someone about absolutely anything I'm thinking. I would have to trust that person a lot, which means they probably would have already had to reveal something really personal.

nope. i always divide my problems among my friends. like if i'm having 4 problems in my life, i might tell one friend 1 of them, another friend 2 of them, and another friend the last 1.
i think everyone that i'm friends with just happens to be better friends with someone else i mean i have good friends but no, i don't have that one 'best' friend.

online tho, i used to have someone like that but she kinda disappeared off the face of the earth

I have a friend who is pretty down to earth. now that I am in college, we do not hang out or contact each other often

I use to have one. She never judged me no matter what I told her and she paid attention. I tried to find a replacement but no one seemed right when I tried.

The only people that I consider "friends" are people that are like that to me. Everyone else is just an acquaintance.

That being said, I have like five friends. Better than lots of acquaintances.

Closest I've had was when we could (and would) fart as loud as we wanted when no one was around
