Light Blink malfunction interrogation mark

Light Blink:
Move with the lights toward the enemies. In towns, you will be instantly teleported to a random location.
Level 1: MP Cost: 40, moves to the most distant enemy. However, in town, you'll be teleported to a random location on the map.

I wanted to ask this for a long time now but I just kept forgetting.

So, as the description says I thought it was going to work as DS's "Chaos Lock" skill in monster maps and like Evan's "Dragon Blink" in town maps, so in town maps it works fine but in monster maps it only teleports you if you are reeeeeeally close to a monster, so close that you could just attack it and there's no point on using it outside of a town, so is this a malfunction or what?

@xDracius: I know but it's fun to use and it could come handy [i]some[/i] times if it worked like the DS's skill

@Psydei: Either way, Light Blink has a good range for me. It's just that Lumi's skills have such a long range, it's worthless.

Telecasting with the broken Light Speed is more efficient anyway if you do it right.
